No spoilers but especially after the movie, I would happily sacrifice Luigi's Mansion for a Galaxy-themed expansion of Super Nintendo, or heck a whole Galaxy land in USF or an eventual 4th gate. Holy cow.

Maybe Nintendo and Universal ought to have this as a backup plan if Zelda remains stuck in development hell.

Why not something akin to Flight of Passage? Have three or four operating theaters with a saddled broomstick? Personally, I have wanted Uni to do a flying theater for a while. If not for Potter, maybe flying with Dracula in Dark Universe.

Love FOP. Disney guests love it too....I'm sure it would be popular as a Potter attraction if done in a similar high quality manner.

Even before the movie I’ve always said bringing Space Fantasy over but themed to Mario Galaxy would be a good idea.

While I agree to an extent I don’t think that’s the big reason why they have had several issues over the years.

Bad management is more like it in my opinion.

Cedar Fair always did a lot better than Six Flags I believe.

Not to detract from the overall topic, but I’ve grown to feel the same. Food quality to me has become an underrated but impactful factor in a good overall park. While I’ve seen Disney and Universal do well with their food options, when it comes to more traditional parks like Six Flags (still not used to Cedar Fair now being part of the same company…), I would rather find some franchise location I trust inside. I will say, United Parks and Entertainment makes Six Flags look incredibly operated nowadays sadly.

And here I am, a coaster nerd, while everyone is ganging up on the coasterz trend… lol

In all seriousness, I think Epic only has one too many coasters. And that’s really because they weren’t able to set dress it properly (presumably because of liability + time constraint reasons). I think an indoor one for Potter would be a welcome, thrilling addition that would *importantly* fill out the land and allow an additional pull during stormy weather while still (hopefully) proving immersive.

Agreed! I honestly think an indoor coaster is the main thing this park is missing! I also wouldn’t be against some kind of non-coaster related Potter ride (indoors preferably)!

Maybe I'm over (or under) thinking this, but I can't shake the thought that "FoP broomstick ride" just sounds like Forbidden Journey, but stationary. Specifically scenes like this:

I will be paying attention to permits for this plot to determine whether it’s a coaster or not.

That’s why there’s no way it’s a screen based simulator ride.

Same here, if there will eventually be a 4(Luigi, Lagoon, werewolf, unchained) large scale attraction based on horror themed ride exist in the Epic Universe, it would be pretty unbalanced thematically, it's a epic universe, not a spooky universe.

With Dark Universe eventually getting an expansion, I personally wouldn't want the creatives to repeat applying the same theme in a land that is right next to a large scale horror themed land filled with rides and experiences.

Zelda mini themed zone with a boat ride next to Donkey Kong, Galaxy indoor mini themed zone with a trackless dark ride next to 1up shop would be idealistic to me, diversifying the Nintendo land(Finally epic would get an indoor mini land with full of AC, which is much needed for nintendo area due to lack of shades and not having not much spaces for guest to avoid heat in hot summer days)

Making a show building that contains both of these rides to use the small space efficiently (like Avatar Flight of Passage and River Journey), yet separate accessible points on these lands, only to be able to access Zelda though kong, Galaxy through that carved area next to the 1up shop for being this land to be more cohesive with the environments that are around would be nice.

Agreed, it feels like if they're going with a flying broom attraction, they want you flying around rather than in place.

It also makes total sense they'd be aiming for that attraction, it's a main "want" from the series, and the shelved VR attraction was to have us flying on broomsticks. The goal is the same, they just have to change up what ride system to use.

An while I wouldn't mind a flying theater attraction, I think that would be a fantastic addition to Isle of Berk which would make a great indoor family attraction.

I mean they already have a floating bench and an enchanted elevator.

What’s next? A hexed escalator?
