Maybe the lawsuit is having an effect, but not enough to keep Art completely out?

This is the end.
I’ve defended every decision. Stood in the heat for hours. Spent hundreds of dollars. Built my whole fall around this event. Halloween Horror Nights wasn’t just an event…it was my sanctuary.

But Art the Clown? While he is currently going through a custody battle?
You didn’t just make a mistake, Universal.
You betrayed everything that Damien Leone poured his blood sweat and tears into.

You opened the gates to a different crowd.
The kind doesn’t know the history. Doesn’t appreciate our Art (the clown). The kind that laughs at what we once held close. The kind that will turn our nightmares into a joke.

And the kind that will ensure that Terrifier never returns to the event. Ever. Again. Because the one system that will never find this funny…is the judicial system.

The lawsuit caused some necessary clarifications to be made before moving forward. I’m assuming marketing it as “Art” instead of Terrifier may have allowed that wiggle room.

I think they are choosing to just highlight the individual character in this case, because it’s not like your going to see characters like the Little Pale Girl and the protagonists of Terrifier.

It’s just the Art show, and considering how popular the clown is; it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.

If the problem persists when we get to the TT, then that will be when the question should be raised; but I see no reason to think the Terrifier brand is dead (especially as Terrifier 4 should still be aiming for October of next year).

I would not take anything regarding this announcement as anything other than Universal getting permission to use Art amidst a legal battle that doesn’t involve them - including what characters can or can’t be used just yet.

It's funny because I'm the opposite - I would love to see the Klowns by themselves in New York. They could better utilize the parade floats from the movie, the ice cream truck, even a scaled down version of ship itself.

I actually hope we still get that even with the mash up. Has a ton of obvious iconography.

Pretty much confirmed as Jack's zone. And familiar clowns from our past hopefully means Chance and Eddie too! Also, still more clowns to be revealed?
