Thank you for the review...is it rough like head and body movement, you get thrown around? This will make a difference for one of my kids.

Huh. That's odd. I rode it in Japan and I didn't find it rough at all

In your opinion, would a person of height experience discomfort on this attraction?

My dad is pretty tall and he was fine. The first time we rode it we were in the back of the ride vehicle and it's very wide. Lot of space.

I didn't find it rough at all. There's some type of audio cue or rumble effect when you jump the track that adds a sensation of roughness but i thought it was a very smooth ride.

Mods feel free to move this to a different thread, but did the Orlando version of the DK land and SNW have any noticeable differences are additions that aren't apparent in the aerial photography?

I believe Alicia may have speculated that the increased size of the land may have left room for additional offerings in the space underneath the castle or within the indoor segments of the land (such as the underground tunnels).

Wow... lol. I rode the version of this ride in Japan, that version is WAYYYYYY better. Jesus christ. I don't know what happened but for some reason the Orlando version is extremely rough. My back still hurts from this ride. It sucks because I do enjoy this ride but not like this. It's very uncomfortable. Every turn you take you're hitting the sides of the ride vehicle. It's like Hulk but way worse. Hopefully they fix it. Japan's version of the ride is nothing like that and is very smooth. Very curious what happened here

Could it have something to do with the different weight distributions of who you rode with in Japan vs Epic? Idk

Nope I don't think so lol. I rode it twice in Japan and neither ride was uncomfortable or rough. It's just how the ride is in Orlando sadly. Before I rode it I already heard people saying it was really rough (I was so confused because like I said, Japan's version isn't like that at all) so idk what the issue is. Whatever it is they need to fix it because it makes the ride so bad

Wonder if this is what maybe explains the delay to the USJ version opening?

Except for the waterfall and I think some scene elements the rides were exactly the same, right? Curious to know what happened that makes our version rattle riders.

I mean clearly USJ found issues that caused them to delay to the opening. Perhaps those fixes just don’t fit into the current timeline for Epic’s opening?

Did we ever get a good answer as to what the problem was for Japan's? IIRC the rumored issue was centered around the batteries overheating which isn't the same problem here.

Man, that first lift hill nearly broke my back! When it connected to the chain it was so violent it flung my glasses off. The rest of the ride was very rough as well. I did like when you reached the top of the first lift hill it suddenly accelerated (like it was launching) that sold the illusion of being off the track
