I thought the latest potential leak concerning the Switch 2 deserved a mention in this thread.

Personally I’d be very happy with this as it makes it possible that any game that’s able to run on the Series S could potentially come to the Switch 2 as well since it’ll naturally have some more modern tech inside of it.

It could even exceed Series S in terms of visual quality if the console can implement DLSS.

Lucky for the Ps5 Generation games are rarely more then just PS4 games with 4K

I just want the Switch 2 to be able to play more 3rd Party games, I love it but thats its weakness and really wish we could get a Pro Switch but Nintendo just refuses to do more power consoles...while the other consoles pro's are just for fun....Nintendo needs it so it can run games better that are not Nintendo games....like Apex, Overwatch and fortnite as examples

I get the feeling but I think Nintendo’s playing a smart game here. I don’t think Nintendo wanted to create a machine that would be too expensive and the sticker shock to the PS5 Pro helps prove that. Remember that Nintendo’s #1 demographic is families and I don’t think a $500 Switch 2 would’ve been appealing.

I guess Nintendo and The Pokémon Company actually found something legit that they could build a case off of. No real details so we’ll have to wait and see if that reason is actually something substantial rather than petty.

There was a bit of controversy surrounding Palworld, due in large part to similarities with Pokemon. The game released 8 months ago, but it seems Nintendo wasn’t in any rush to respond.

Concord reportedly cost Sony $400 million. I just have to ask how no one inside tried to stop this. From how universal the disinterest was with the public there HAD to be plenty of people on the inside with the same thoughts, right?

After watching it, I think the fun money I'm currently saving up for my B-Day will be better invested in an OLED Steam Deck. While I am a Sony fan, personally there just hasn't been enough exclusives recently to entice me to pick up a PS5. Meanwhile I've been gradually adding to my collection on Steam, and some of the Sony games I'm really interested in are available on Steam.

I played so little of the first and I need to get back to it because I loved what I played but got distracted by other things. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

GameFreak has been hacked.

Massive Game Freak leak unearths Pokémon Gen 10, Switch 2 codename, and more

According to Pokémon insider CentroLeaks, Game Freak was hacked earlier today and everything from source codes for older Pokémon games to the Switch 2 codename has now been leaked onto the internet.

I’ve seen the “Ounce” codename for Switch 2 before so whoever leaked that is now confirmed to be credible. Also from the leak before it might actually be “Oz” and the person leaking it just thought it was the shortened version of “Ounce.” I’ve seen that too.

Gen 10 of Pokémon is apparently in development for both Switch and Switch 2 and there’s mention of an mmo.

With a potential leak like this I thought it deserved the attention of the general gaming thread.
