Robert Niles over at Theme Park Insider posed an interesting question: Can y'all think of a really good theme park burger, whether it's in the park or at an adjoining shopping district? Burgers are on my list of foods that I can cook much more cost effectively (and often, much better) at home so I couldn't even tell you the last time I bought a burger at a theme park.

I’ll go to bat for Cowfish, which has been consistently strong for me since they’ve opened.

Back when my culinary palette was a bit more, ahem, boring, I did get the Mythos burger every now and again and recall it being very solid. Haven’t had it in years, though, so can’t speak to where it stands now.

Robert Niles? The Mythos Banner Guy?

But on a serious note:

There's only 3 places I'll get a burger from at Universal. Finnegan's Red Dragon, Hard Rock Legendary, and Cowfish (when I'm not having sushi).

I have! And have had the burger.

But if I’m going to any of the hotel restaurants, I’m usually not gonna get a burger.

I've gotta imagine if you tell them, "I'm here for the $20 cocktails. I tip 20 percent" you're good to go.

This happende to me once in the dressingroom of a fitness center. The computer gave you a code and I forgot it. After training I went for a swim and then I decided to forget it so I had to walk in my speedo's to reception. The lady went with me, tons of naked men commenting and she was like "there is here nothing I haven't seen before". After that I had a water proof pen with me so there is your tip.

I'll also go to bat for Cowfish - the service is pretty bad and always has been, but the burgers have always been very good.

Yeah Cowfish service is quite abysmal, but at least the food is great (crab dip, etc.)

Burgers at Toothsome used to be good, but it's lost its interest
