Why is there no barcade/arcade at Citywalk? It’s a big business now.

I think Universal runs Voodoo, but not sure how that works exactly. I assume it's like Universal is the franchise owner of this store, sending some of the money to the parent company or something. But I do remember someone saying Uni runs this location for what it's worth.

Was debated and rejected when CityWalk opened. Now that CW even less of a PI clone, don't see it happening.

Also space too small for any sort of performance/entertainment aspect to a potential bar.

What happened to Gameworks Orlando?

So Piq is exclusively run by an outside party?

The whole chain is almost gone sadly. I think Seattle and Vegas are the only two remaining.

I really miss the Michigan location. Mainstay of my childhood.

I don't know. But I think they also run a cart or two around CityWalk selling socks and stuff you can find inside PiQ, but outside.

This would actually be a better option for both parties rather than renting out space to a tennant.

I feel like yes PiQ is always busy on the inside, but do people actually buy anything? I look around the store a lot, but don’t buy anything since it’s just stuff I can find elsewhere for cheaper.

I’ve actually purchased things there, but despite being full of people, I’ve never once had to wait in line at the register.

I would love to see Universal do something like a Film Vault bar with memorabilia from different films

Most retail operations (malls, shopping centers) charge tenants rent plus a percentage of sales. I would guess Universal has a similar setup with any lessees in CityWalk. This arrangement gives the business and the landlord incentive to drive sales and traffic.

Island Clothing also upped the discount on all items. Some are now between 50-70% off.

Any reports on Eve at City Walk? Have considered attending despite the Christmas crowd.

Isn’t EVE a New Year’s eve party, only happens night of Dec 31st. Not sure what you’re asking about.
