Awesome update from Annie as always!

The show will be approximately over 6 minutes; the scale of fireworks and lighting seems grander than the Magic Kingdom nighttime spectacular.

I mean jeez, look at the finale. Never seen a scale of theme park fireworks show this big. It's something you see on these crazy Japanese summer fireworks festival and only 1 out of 3 firework launch pad was functional on this rehearsal.

It's truly Epic indeed.

Magic Kingdom’s show is also like 20 minutes, to be fair. But I do agree that the fireworks are high-quality and abundant, hyped to see the final product.

I assume there will be a 3 minute warming-up show just like the beginning of the current nighttime show to gather audiences and 7-8 minutes of fireworks show, including the theme and music of 4 lands.

Just realized. They have added 2 set of moving heads and 4 sets of par LED spotlights to almost EVERY street lamp in Celestial Park pathway.(This is why you can see projected gobo lights on streets in the testing footage)(The arrangement of these lights is very similar to parade lighting towers in Disney Parks.)(The arrangement of these new lighting sets in street lamps may correspond to a future parade path)

This is related to the new Celestial Good Night show and perhaps a potential parade show that are in development.

From people I know that have been able to see the previews, seems to be a plussed up version of the existing "The Cosmos Fountain" show. New DK sequence and voice lines from Super Mario, Ygor, Victoria, Frank, Hiccup; some more elaborate fountain, spotlight, and LED patterns; and fireworks through the entire show. Roughly 10 minutes or so. No projections, so nothing like the Phoenix test footage from awhile back. Incredibly similar, if not nearly identical audio (narration, music) and general show pacing to what already exists.

Based on all of that, it almost seems like this was the version they had pitched for Opening Year, but due to budget and time constraints they had to supply a non-Marquee scaled back version until they could get everything put in place. If you've seen the existing show, you've already seen about 70% of the upcoming show, if what I've heard is true. One of my friends that had seen it said they preferred Cinesational.

Great video and pics. Well done.

Gonna have to give it a resounding meh. Projection mapping and imaging really has reshaped how I view shows.

I much prefer USFs show to this one. Get the “feels” more. And happily ever after clearly still the favorite just based on its dominate IP lineup.

That said- it’s a nice addition and a good change and hopefully keeps the crowds around at night longer as well as the restaurants more full for dinner. Fountains look good, the lights throughout the park are fun as well, and the finale was spectacular.

A side benefit being that you can really be anywhere to enjoy the fireworks which are the main draw to where you feel like you don’t miss much otherwise if you weren’t parked in front of the fountain. Particularly since the fireworks don’t do a lot of aerial spacing or framing.

Pretty decent. We've watched three Epic night shows now, two in November and another a couple weeks ago. Usually I don't put a lot into videos, but since I saw the previous shows I get a pretty full understanding of this one. It's a nice plus. It reminds me a lot of the Epcot night show.

Mostly I agree with @Andysol. Well done, but not as good as Cinesational at USF. I've also been ruined by the projections and water images. Cinesational does that as well as Fantasmic, which is my favorite night show in Orlando. Cinesational also seems to have more story and better music.

Bottom line though, it's a very nice addition to Epic, and with so many fireworks, which theme park guests love, it surely will draw a crowd every night it runs.

Good job Universal Entertainment, or whoever is responsible.
