So the fun show with underwhelming food way east on 192 in Kissimmee closed last year. (I suspect it's a vape shop now). But the owners are relocating, to the former Toby Keith's/Caddyshack in Dezerland on I-Drive, with a new name and tweaks to the concept. Because the space is so massive, it's a somewhat different format--restaurant will be open all day, with the outdoor dining section remaining, and the show will be performed in a separate theater space, not while you're dining. Hoping to open by Fall.

Personal take, much better location -- other than Medieval Times and GKTW, tourism abandoned east Kissimmee long ago -- but I do hope the new, larger kitchen and focus on all-day dining results in better food. Still, the show was always fun, and hopefully new theater space can maybe expand into other shows as well.

The buffet used to have some decent choices. The post Covid choices were not great and that’s when their reviews seemed to tank. I hope they can survive after being closed for so long. I used to go a lot back in the day since I knew a good chunk of people that worked there.

This is in Dezerland?? This can’t bode well, that area is soooo dead compared to the outlets across the street. There really isn’t a lot of natural traffic over there imo. I was hoping they’d choose actual international drive like by surfside and dockside if any of those buildings were free, or further by icon park. Maybe Dezerland has gotten more popular since I moved but when I was a kid and lived that way, the old Artegon Marketplace was always a ghost town.

Been dead going back to Festival Bay. Nowhere near as good as the other locations you suggested, but still probably better than the Kissimmee location. Really counting on their food now to carry them as well. It will need to be noticeably better. But if the show is good, hopefully that will draw locals and build buzz.

I think Hamburger Mary’s is supposed to move into the old Capones location in Kissimmee after closing in downtown Orlando.

Wish them luck (the one in Daytona made a delicious burger), but the level of culture shock between those two locations is comical.
