So the fun show with underwhelming food way east on 192 in Kissimmee closed last year. (I suspect it's a vape shop now). But the owners are relocating, to the former Toby Keith's/Caddyshack in Dezerland on I-Drive, with a new name and tweaks to the concept. Because the space is so massive, it's a somewhat different format--restaurant will be open all day, with the outdoor dining section remaining, and the show will be performed in a separate theater space, not while you're dining. Hoping to open by Fall.
Personal take, much better location -- other than Medieval Times and GKTW, tourism abandoned east Kissimmee long ago -- but I do hope the new, larger kitchen and focus on all-day dining results in better food. Still, the show was always fun, and hopefully new theater space can maybe expand into other shows as well.
