Snagged a reservation Monday night for Beak & Barrel, the new pirate bar next to PotC. As much as I was on the fence about Geo-82, this place is a home run.

Incredible atmosphere--old school Disney level of theming, and the CM hosts and servers do their best to stay in character. The show elements are really well done. Unlike Geo, the drinks were delicious--and lethal. Think craft cocktails at a legit tiki bar. Prices were in line with a Permanent Vacation or Suffering Bastard, < $20 except for the one in the souvenir mug. (But man, that mug is so cool.) Had the chipotle chicken arepa and the mix of chips and sauces, both rank among the best food in MK.

There is a 45-minute time limit, they warn you up front, but more subtle once inside. And a good chance you'll be seated with others. In our case, worked out great, got to tell a fellow tiki enthusiast from Texas about some local Orlando spots to try. But the more introverted may not be comfortable with this.

Bottom line, highly recommended. Hopefully this inspires more lounges through the park. A true Gaston's Tavern or a Mansion bar could be incredible.

I wish Disney just made these bars outside the parks in DTD/Disney springs where we have room for a full experiences no need to group people together and or no time limits

Its looks and sounds cool but they are always too small
