I think what really needs to sell this attraction is the feeling of flight. The other statewide scoop based rides, as good as they may be, are all largely focused on the idea of a street based battle/ adventure where flying is a “surprise” to the guest. I think this needs to “fly” the moment you’re out the loading platform.

It will. The Peter Pan ride at TDS captures this feeling very well imo

Haven't ridden the new Peter Pan ride, but reviews from sources I trust suggest that the level of flight simulation is akin to that of Flight of Passage, albeit in a different ride vehicle.

Bastards.

The death of the Red Trolley Car for the DCA SWEEP is like my personal version of that kid they malnourish in Omelas.

The quality of this rides needs to at least be almost as good as Monsters Unchained or Ministry at Epic. If there are no animatronics and it’s all screens, that is going to be a big disservice to this ride. Sadly I don’t expect any AAs wil instead just be a “really good Transformers”

The only thing keeping me hopeful is that the Peter Pan TDS ride (same ride system as Infinity Defense) is really good. To be fair I haven't ridden it since before I went to Epic so maybe I would like it less now but when I rode it in January it was my favorite out of the 3 rides I rode in Fantasy Springs.

I feel this the cross over of people that will go to Epic and ride this will be negligible. Disney wont care either way, but to the GP (who all Disney is worried about) will eat this up most likely no matter what. Comparing to anything at Epic is mainly an enthusiast thing.

Will it though? I don’t have any hard stats or data to back this up, but Epic is getting some buzz. Not to mention you have social media and YouTube videos showcasing the best of that park. Even if the majority of the GP doesn’t go to Epic, I’m sure they will stumble across videos of Monsters or Ministry and people will be like “Hey why can’t Avengers be like this?”

I would love at the bare minimum a King Thanos AA. But half of me isn't going to be shocked if there are no AAs at all. If thats the case Disney's probably is putting a priority on making sure the ride can be more easily updated as the MCU goes on.

Ironically I think the MCU is gonna reach the end of its staying power by the time this opens. I just don’t see Doomsday making a profit with how mix they’re throwing at it. This should’ve opened literally years ago.

I think the future of the MCU once it gets a soft reboot post Secret Wars will skew more heavily towards X-Men and F4. A lot of people seem more thrilled about it going in that general direction and maybe it will spark new interest in the MCU.

The problem with the MCU is that they went big with the super wars that had all the heroes from all the Marvel Universe. How do you go forward with little stories of a hero or two against a villain or two....or even just one team like FF or X-Men. It's all anti climatic now.

The current social media perspective of Ministry is already “lol screens” so that’s one obstacle down.

I don’t think that’s the narrative at all from what I’ve seen.

A few saying it contains screens isn’t indicative of the entire social media.
