None of the traditional insiders (who have been doing this for years) have any beef (to my knowledge…?). We’re actually still chatting about stuff.

It’s more one or two accounts taking a normal part of speculation and trying to discredit people… for the good of the community?

The vinyl is music based on past years houses. It doesn’t really have anything to do with this years houses.

Dr oddfellows carnival is HHN lore. It has a backstory that connects to Jack. It wasn’t just made up for this years event but it seems like this year there is going to be an original based on this backstory.

The rest of those pictures are based on old HHN originals and some IPs. Phantom of the Opera is a universal monster who has just never had his own house until this year.

I get all that. The individual pieces make sense and are logical.

Taking them all together and looking at what a lot of the overall speculation is just too much of a complete match for it to be complete happenstance.

Wow, if these houses actually come to fruition and there were hints scattered about this whole time - prepare for HHN33 spec to begin as soon as they open the tribute store this year lol

The weapons are fully secure and their measures are far more stringent than film sets, etc. which is why, because of the protocols, this would be a tough ask. They are super careful.

On a side note, they wouldn't be able to do much when it comes to aerialists and any special effects, etc other than fire due to the ceiling/catwalk limitations of their existing equipment. On top of this, there are WAY too many pitfalls for people to mess around with under the stage when it comes to the elevator lifts, chemicals, high pressure systems, etc. that some casual third party performer could be injured by. They could train all of these people, but again, way more money and time than it's worth.

I know this is apples and oranges, but I know that at Movie Ride the firearms were 1/4 charge, and Tour Guides without gun training certification and guests would be in close proximity. I know that the "gun room" for the ride was secluded and required a fair amount of training, and that the guns were stored elsewhere during the evenings. If Bourne was to be used as a stage for HHN, is it possible that there is a safe place to store the guns outside of the theatre during event hours, or is there weaponry built into the set/infrastructure that could not be removed? I also know that they frequently flip the Indy stage for special events where they have GP standing on the special effect pads for the show.

If the guns were removed from Bourne, I don't see why they couldn't flip the stage, considering the heavy screen use. They wouldn't be able to do aerial stunts, but there are many other concepts that could be considered, especially if they decided to do a Jack-style show or, like, an 80s musical revue inspired by Stranger Things. Broadway stages are flipped for special events on occasion for events like Broadway Backwards, they just don't have the actors using the flying carpets or exposed safety-trained mechanisms of the host theatre, and instead rely on performance and A/V design.

Of course, perhaps there are additional measures or concerns in the stage that make Bourne more dangerous than other stunt show stages.

While I’ll agree we’ll probably get an announcement before then, I don’t think that panel is the reason why. If you read the description, it seems to be focusing on Women of HHN and how it feels to be a woman in the horror genre. Nothing about the description screams that an announcement must happen before the panel.

Unless it's to talk about some non-objectifying / sexualizing female focused IP coming to the event such as one with a strong female protagonist (Stranger Things or, having not seen it and wildly assuming it's the stand in for the Demon Slayer map entry, Evil Dead Rise) or a full zone/show based on female characters (M3gan) or some as yet unknown original.

Talking about women in HHN and then announcing an "empowering" female house/zone/show while talking about the 3000 lbs gorilla in the room of past female-centric houses/zones/shows objectifying the women and putting them in skimpy outfits could be pretty relevant and draw more buzz then a blog post.
