How close do we think the devils snare will be to the train itself. Im assuming just out of reach so we're can't touch it BUT im wondering about evacuation access.

While videoing yesterday it was the same group of guys that went around the track several times. So I believe they only had one train going.

It'll be everywhere but the moving stuff will be just out of reach of guests.

Thank you for this. Speaking of which, I get to visit "The Shed" this weekend, both Friday and Saturday, if it isn't raining.

Everything on Hagrid's coaster just looks fantastic. Plus, it will only get better over time as the foliage matures.

Wonder what the devil's snare scene will be like. Really has a potential for greatness, especially if the room is very likely and there are loud plant noises. I assume the devil's snare will be everywhere around us, ceiling walls, floor?

Pretty much. But to be honest, I'm actually more excited about the forest floor after we fall, with thick redwoods and spooky atmosphere. Being inside, even just briefly, will really sell the idea of the Forbidden Forest.

Won’t that also be what leads up to the snare, though? I imagine it’ll be similar to what you’ve just described except with larger sets, since we saw those treelike forms on the upper level before they enclosed the showbuilding. Maybe the bottom post-fall scene will be like a deep cavern?

I think the upper level is mostly all devil's snare, with tree trunks behind it. The ground is where we'll get a better unobstructed view of the trunks.

Oooh okay, that makes sense. That’s a lot of snare coverage if that’s the case! Will really make everyone feel closed in, especially if they gradually bring the snare vines right up to the vehicle envelope. The proximity of set pieces on FJ comes to mind.

Doubt they actually do this, but I would use air blasts to simulate the pixies swarming you.
