Yes. You can see some of it from Destination Parkway as well as from Bio's aerials.

I'm sure they didn't say that when Disney shut down Diamond Horseshoe to re-allocate entertainment budget to other projects with no replacement.

So, at the beginning of the year, Universal put out a blog post about what would be announced this year. Included in this post was the Potter coaster, T2 replacement, and Nintendo's presence in Orlando.

Do we think this is just being thrown aside now? :bigeye:

You'll probably hear about the Potter coaster and T2 before the end of the year.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Nintendo

I would bet on that.

I guess there is a super outside chance they'll just release the same art USJ showed, maybe with the Donkey Kong portion added in, and say "Coming soon!" and end it there. But who knows

I think what they actually said was Nintendo news for the US parks in general, not just Orlando.

Yes, this^. I recall it was Nintendo that made an announcement not Universal? I try to see everything and may have had a few if that was published so I missed it but I don't recall it was.

The blog only deals with Orlando, so I doubt they'd post Hollywood stuff there

yeah, if Hollywood gets news; it won't be on the UORBlog.

You would rather want to expect it for sites like Entertainment Weekly, Variety, LA Times, or Deadline.

Ya beat me to it, Alicia! I'm gonna predict a name announcement for the Potter coaster right after HHN.. then maybe the T2 replacement soon after!

I would expect both T2 and Potter announcements between HHN and Christmas. Nintendo not until at least next Summer.

Unintentionally teasing us like that. I forget when it came out that Nintendo was being moved to the new park but if it was this year, they probably had every intention of a Nintendo announcement this year.

Although, Dave is probably right. The closest we will get to see Nintendo will either be by Hollywood by a surprise..or by Osaka, and that it'd be a kickstart for pushing the land for a 2020 launch.
