What about a second (or third) virtual/augmented reality attraction? Something like BGW’s Battle for Eire could work well.

Hard pass.

Mario Kart was supposed to have AR effects in it, but last I heard they're not ready for prime time.

I get the AR, but virtual reality is already present in a lot of other parks. It shouldn’t be that hard to use.

It's present in a lot of parks and it's...mostly worthless? It kneecaps capacity, and it is a cheap way out. I think it's not something to base an attraction around.

Okay, fine. What about a 4D coaster? Like X2 at Magic Mountain and the Joker/Wonder Woman clones.

An X2 coaster will never be built again. Something like joker could work.

Joker is super low capacity though, no? I just don't see anything like that happening in a park trying to get 10+ million people in yearly attendance

Why wouldn’t there ever be another X2?

Operational wise (and cost wise), a 4D Controlled Spinning coaster like X2 is a mess.

The theoretical capacity for the standard model is around 720 people per hour, which would be a complete disaster in a park that big. It would need loads of midcourses to have a decent throughput.

We technically have two others that S&S made after arrow died, but they’re still expensive, not very reliable, and S&S has their newer free spin model which works better (but with lower capacity).

The land that Comcast purchased it doesn't seem like their is any place to put a new version of jaws anyways since their is hardly any water where all those acres of land is where future universal property will go for the resort. Back to the future seems more likely.

....I'm sorry, but come again?

How in the seven blazes does the lack of water mean that one thing isn't going to happen, and that another would seem more likely?

I mean, the Jaws waterway was man-made. I'm in no way saying Jaws will come back, it almost assuredly will not, but lack of water isn't a hindrance

With ponds having to be relocated in Florida, does something like Jaws, hell the situation or is it considered something else?

No idea, tbh. I would think stuff like that counts as retention ponds, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

Jaws was closer to a swimming pool than a pond, lake, or retention pond.

Besides being constructed out of concrete, it was regularly chlorinated. Twasn't nuttin' natural about that water feature, that's for sure.

Thinking about, burning tons of fuel on the surface probably doesn’t help things either.

So That land where jaws was at USF wasn't always water? So iff they wanted to create a creature from The black lagoon they could without any water surrounding the property even though a horror section isn't likely for a 4th gate.

Or a Jurassic World section featuring a mossasaur attraction which would have to include water. Sorry for doublepost just wanted to add that.
