How is Universal linking your credit card with your Tapu Tapu? It's not your device like a MagicBand. Seems like it would be really easy to accidentally a Tapu Tapu that's either not synced with a credit card or, more scarily, linked to somebody else's credit card.

I'm wondering his too, especially at the end of the day when you give back the Tapu. Is there going to be a way to deactivate your credit card before you leave?

I can see people just giving back the band with their CC linked to it and that's not safe at all.

Maybe the employees do a system or hard reset every time before handing them back out.

That and the PIN number you must create when adding your card seems safe enough for me. Using a PIN number every time you pay is a good peace of mind measure they're using.

It just occurred to me, I'm surprised that there is no preview center in either of the parks. Not necessarily something as elaborate as what Universal Studios had for Islands of Adventure, but at least some kind of display.

I thought I saw it posted that there is a scale mockup in one of the sound stages they were using during construction. Sure would like a peek at that

I don't think they always build them, they cost a bit to create and do offer a window into their planning process so they might not want too much of that out there.

When it comes to a brand new park, yep...models are built. It's much easier to help visualize with sightlines and potential issues. Sure a 3-d computer model does similar work, but actually SEEING it in person sometimes adds something.

VB and Kong models were being worked on at the same time... I believe, and were in the same soundstage.

Going from your disdain of depth compression and long lenses :), I suspect he doesn't use a super zoom and crops his images instead.

Any place that has black bean soup as a side is a winner in my book. Can't wait to try that Belly Burger!

Looks like it's been done via the app. You probably load your CC details to your account and then sync your Tapu Tapu to your account. The Tapu Tapu could have a QR code on the back you scan with your smart phone using the app or something along those lines. You'll probably also get a message appear on your Tapu Tapu to confirm the details.

We need an acronym for Tapu Tapu but TT is already taken.

**Breaking News**

Drops slides are damaged. Replacement slide pieces are being staged at the tree farm off of Universal Blvd.

I have no disdain of anything. I was only commenting the color and contrast of his photos... they don't appear to be mucked with in photoshop to me. That said, I love any and ALL photographs on here.

Are Canon T6 Rebels any good? Perhaps I should check out the photography thread. :saywhat:

So the Universal philosophy of "something goes wrong" is true for Volcano Bay?

I was trying to be funny. I appreciate a natural image as well. And I don't disparage cropping (if that's even the case here). I crop everything to fix my chronically poor in-camera framing.
