Man I love original houses, as much as IPs can blow you away there is absolutely nothing like the genius creativity that goes into the originals. Leave it to cleaver, everything in 18 and 21? C'mon man!!! Hopefully we get jack and all originals for 25, highly doubtful but I'd be very happy if so

Man 21 was a good year.
Given that 22, 23, and 24 (if rumors prove true) were so IP heavy, I could see them hitting the reset button and pulling out all (or nearly all) originals for 25. Hook people in 3 IP heavy years and then hope they like it so much that they come back for a less IP centric year seems like a pretty good business model given that no IP's means they do not have to pay licensing fees.

Unfortunately many of the IPs have been so good that I am at a toss up for which one I like..I miss the days of only one IP though

well wasn't the reason why they did IPs in 2012 because the park wasn't strong enough at the time with all the work walls or was it money? If its the first reason it's plenty strong now, if its the ladder....dang it, 21 was a glorious year, might've had the best houses of the events history. Don't get me wrong IPs are incredible when done right but uni never gets to use their imagination, give them a chance

I don't miss original houses...I miss the way Universal did original houses. There's a huge difference between Nightingales and Havoc 2. I think the quality of the houses from years past, and it just so happened they were original back then. Now, IP houses are leagues better than the originals. I'd take American Werewolf over Afterlife any day.

I personally like IP houses. Especially when done like last year. 3 of the 4 IP houses were pretty strong last year.

Well that was last year, 22 the originals were miles better than any IP, dead end and gothic are still known as some of the best houses. But I do agree when a IP is done right my god it's perfection. AWIL for the win. Oh yeah and another thing, can we all agree HR Bloodngutz needs to return ASAP, he can be a icon he's so awesome

Umm Universal Creative has nothing to do with HHN.. It's all Art and Design.

21 was good for houses but the theme marketing came up with SUCKED. The last good yr were marketing did an awesome job with what A&D handed them was 2008.

A&D does drop dead pretty houses but corp needs to but the scare factor to the event.

I didn't like Lady Luck as a icon (what's next Mother Nature?) but she did link all the houses together quite nicely, take a listen you'll gain more respect for her http://youtu.be/vecsPpSonqo she's no Bloody Mary but damn that's almost impossible to catch up to, her and Jack are neck and neck for my favorite icon

HTF once mentioned a new character called the propmaster, is that still happening?

That's cool I didn't know that, thanks for the trivia, love horror nights history. Atleast they struck gold with the caretaker, genius stuff. Hopefully the prop master happens or something in that nature. If they do make a new icon I want it to have the same connections as Bloody Mary while still having a fun personality that you'd get out of Jack. A perfect streetmosphere character that could interact with. Hopefully a house is in the works for this prop master aswell, icon houses are always fun when they don't have to do with mirrors

If they do the propmaster, then I wonder if every house would be connected because it involves a specific prop, makes me wonder if they actually got the inspiration from 'cabin in the woods' where we have a basement full of props, this idea could easily lend itself to an original house, kind of like a combination of the basement in 'cabin in the woods' and the warehouse of Jigsaw in Saw.

That's what I'm thinking!!! That idea could spawn a incredible website this year as well. If only this year wasn't so IP based. Could've made some killer original characters for it
