As I've said before, this is my most anticipated attraction at either WDW or Universal. It's kind of can't miss. The ride configuration of the most excellent Disneyland IJ, and updated effects with a new story line. A fantastic attraction choice.

Yep they are really going all out for this.

Imagine this thing in person.

I doubt they will, but put that serpent on a Kuka arm with a track and have it actually chase you.

I'm apparently not getting my beloved Chernabog as a huge animatronic in Villains Land... but that serpent is going to be a nice consolation prize!

I wonder if having a serpent as the antagonist of the ride could mean we’ll get a corresponding animal exhibit nearby with live snakes...

I appreciate that this is a new story rather than just a clone of a prior Indiana Jones Adventure. It looks like there's a lot of love behind putting this new ride together.

I wonder if it'll get a 46" height requirement like Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea. DINOSAUR somehow had a 40" height requirement (it used to be 46" before they lowered the intensity, I've heard).

Since the ride seems to be keeping the same layout, where do you think we'll see this snake? At the beginning of the ride, like Mara?

The Imagineers on the D23 stage teased a "final confrontation" of sorts between Indy and the serpent.

Yeah, I think we see it at the very end instead of the boulder. Perhaps we back up and then dive down as the snake lunges at our vehicle?

So it's replacing the carnotaur that you dive beneath?

Hm. So no finale boulder?

Regardless, I'm intrigued.
