It’s the best “Spidey” movie out of the 4. Loved the Punisher “big bro” dynamic.

But the villain… I just couldn’t get into it. Seems forced.

Confusing because Spider-Man has a Batman level Rogues Gallery and it seems MIGHTY wasteful to sideline GREAT villains for... well... that.

I'm all for universe storytelling dynamics, big swings and whatnot, but this is the literal definition of forced. Especially when

I'm excited to see it weird its the best but the Villains doesn't land (whats funny to me is the first two films dont land but have amazing villains)

Somehow not been spoiled on the film outside the things in trailers but its sounding like the vibe of this film will be what we get in the next film or two for the MCU because most people seem to be loving it outside the villain which is so werid to me....Its a Spiderman movie and they are normally one of the best parts, even Spiderman 3 Sandman was a standout in a fine film

Just from the promotional material, it seems like they're trying to course-correct the character.

Entertaining.

He's part of a collection of heroes that so happened to have dealt with loneliness/abandonment in their own way, mirroring the journey Peter is on. I've seen the argument that they just added him for "reasons", and while the movie could work without him, it's not just a lazily added MCU character, so it works.

I do wanna clarify that I meant the "Best"... as in, he's full-on your friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man. Best suit, Better quipping. He's full on what fans come to expect from Spider-Man.
