There are two rumors right now.

1) "Creature boat ride". What's on the tin, a boat ride with the creature. The implication of the rumor was we'd be the main focus of the creature.
2) Bride/Creature coaster concept. "Coaster" as in how SSE and High in the Sky are coasters, could sitll be a boat dunno, but now it's the creature and bride with the bride being the instigating factor.

I think I recall someone bringing up a patent for a “water ride” that’s not actually a water ride, but tricks you into thinking it’s one. It sounds like this is what it’s going to be.

don't water rides have a nearby source of water? I know I see a retention pond near JPRiver Adventure, Popeye opens an hour after the park from what I recall and it seems to pull from IOA lagoon.

I think I recall a lake behind Helios or over there by the fireworks launch area.

Just wondering the practicality of a 'water' ride on that side of the park.

Creating a retention pond nearby isn't hard but also its possible to do it without a retention pond. Nightlight Expedition at Dollywood uses a giant tank to store the water needed for the attraction (likely because of the cold weather they get in the area but its possible)

Are you seriously questioning how Universal can get water to power an attraction in Florida? Have you ever been? That’s like asking how to get sand in the Sahara.

It was supposed to be a joke. Because if you dig in Florida, you get water, that’s why there aren’t basements in the state.

Forums have been very testy lately, so we're erring on the side of caution.

I had some tea the other day with Trelawny and when reading the tea leaves she said I should go make a deposit in Gringotts.

Not saying it should be in Darkmoor. Just stating that it seems like everything is so serious now and they forget the fun. I’d buy a t-shirt of Donkey Kong with King Kong SO FAST for example. Or Luigi dressed as a Ghostbuster trying to vacuum Slimer. Stuff that could only come from the Universal partnership and also have fun with it.

There’s clearly a market for that x-over stuff. Look down the road where you see Darth Vader and Mickey mouse merch, or Stormtroopers riding coasters etc.

Was asking more from a place where the park was designed over 10 years ago, the layout was planned. Just figured they make it easy on themselves if they had planned a water ride over there. To me, it seems they put their main retention over by Stardust --- but I know nothing about design/construction so was just trying to generate some thought.

Central FL is not as close to sea level as southern FL

Will be interesting to see what type of facade is utilized. The Manor is the land’s “weenie” but they’ll need another icon looming in the distance to show guests something is back there. At the same time, you want to avoid messing up the manor’s scale.
