Even though I was in the park literally a day ago and saw absolutely nothing in the old Saw maze location, ThemeParkDuo reported on their IG story just today that tents have now popped up! Looks like we'll be getting some kind of maze there after all

EDIT UPDATE:

Six Flags just announced 4 parks that Saw Legacy the house will be back at this year and Magic Mountain is not on that post, so seems like the Saw house will become a new house

MM missing out on The Strangers maze reiterates that FF out here doesn’t get the best of the best IPs available. I’m glad they got SAW and The Conjuring in the past but it would be nice to have updated IPs over here.

This is frustrating to watch for MM visitors. Once again, other parks are utilizing IPs that MM should be touching as well.

I know MM is like the Flag ship but its strange because MM should be like number 2 if not 3...so I don't get it either

I'm also open to none IP houses to rock but it is strange what we get vs other parks IP wise

We haven’t heard of any IPs so maybe it’s all original. If so, copy KSF’s format and dive into folklore.

Oz and Alice worked out well for them so lets go

I do think having 2 IP houses make sense as draws for people but outside of that, I just want the houses to be fun and well built with good staffing like last year

Someone got a picture of the Trick R Treat Logo at the location today

So assuming its back which is good with me, it was my favorite house last year

I'm actually also all for it in a new location. I think for Fright Fest, it's one of their better mazes.

I suspect that the location behind it is just being ditched entirely, because it just had no public visibility. I'll bet there will be plenty of people thinking this will be the first Time Trick 'r' Treat was even there

It should get more people for sure...I also hope they use the tree out front in that area and put some decorations in that as well

I'm curious about their their strategy of having different IP at different parks, and nothing chain-wide. Is it cheaper? Are they trying to get people to visit different parks? Cater to a local audience? Do the local parks get any say in what IPs they want?

Maybe the reason for this is that they’re rethinking their strategy. What’s the point in having heavy-hitter IPs if you can’t do them well?

If the Conjuring comes back then that kind of kills it for me

It could through because I've heard some people liked that house...but it has like 5-6 actors. I'm just not sure the appeal of that house since most of it is just you alone with no actors
