Gremlins feels a lot more possible at Hollywood after the excellent Chucky maze

Another Clive Barker classic. I'd rather see this than "The Thing" since it's technically been done already.

Not to lead us too far into off topic! Lol. But I think we could easily do dual coast with Gremlins. Orlando has had some fun, campy "comedy" houses and houses with puppets in the past so I think it's totally do-able for Orlando.

Heavily disagree after Chucky. It’s not about it being campy/comedy but about the size.

Been avoiding HHN talk as much as possible this year, but this is legitimately huge. Always so great to finally get one of those IP represented at the event. Hellraiser has been on so many people's wishlists for ... decades, basically! haha. So glad to see it finally happen after all this time.

Universal said it’s the original trilogy, but is there any hope we can get the bikini bottoms version of pinhead in the house?

I love Candyman but would they touch it given the subject matter?

The days where it was seen by many including yours truly as a sure thing to come to HHN 30 feel like a lifetime ago.

Admittedly not the biggest Hellraiser fan, but it's very cool to see this finally come to the event. Literally decades in the making!

Hellraiser is one of those iconic movies that I never quite got into as much as other people have. As a horror movie fan, that franchise doesn’t get a ton of rewatches from me.

The character designs are awesome, though. I also think the movies can lend themselves very well to a haunted house. In fact, the house might even end up having higher production value than those original 3 films it’s based on lol

The best houses always are the ones where there seems to be love for the property involved, so even if I'm not a huge Hellraiser fan I'm excited to see how excited others are about it, if that makes sense.

Very much agree here. Clearly a ton of A&D passion for this. I went into Hellraiser with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Haven’t scene 2 and 3 yet, but I think there’s a ton of house potential here. Especially bc they could do a sort of Insidious-esque thing where you are “in the configuration” and it’s more an onslaught of Cenobites than a book report for some of the house. I realize this doesn’t really matter, but I do sort of hope the latest spec map is right that this is in a soundstage.
