It actually doesn't. It says, "incorrectly posted". This implies that it was at least intended to be the correct date, but it wasn't supposed to be posted.

How I'm reading that is that June 26th was probably a tentative opening date at one time, but was pushed back. While things are progressing, I don't think June 26th would be a realistic opening date with the work that still has to be done.

They probably had an automated update on the site that was set to push for today with that opening date, but they forgot to disable it when plans shifted.

All they had to do was call up the web developer to change a couple of lines of code in the HTML to change the date and JavaScript or Python to issue the launch function lol

Unless the date has been pushed back due to a technical issue, there is still something happening on June 19th that involves many people taking their first rides.

Beyond that it seems like everything is still up in the air, including how many trains are ready to go.

Could be possible the opening date was planned to be announced tomorrow. IGN Live is going to have a moment during their showing tomorrow to discuss and show off the new attraction; could be possible it's being timed with it for a wider demographic.

I will say from the years I’ve experienced new attractions opening at USH that trend is usually softs > AP Previews > TM Preview > Grand opening. It’s been that way since Transformers.
