I'm guessing this would open after the Potter expansion, as that seems to be further along in development.

It'd be ironic if it's an indoor coaster that uses the Gringotts ride system. FJ and Gringotts but Monsters next to each other! (Don't mean this negatively, as long as it's done well... Unlike Gringotts! )

I hope it is Creature. I’m thinking something similar to how Jaws was or even better like Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros or even It’s a Small World.

Same. The more I go into that park, the more I appreciate it. The vibes, the ambiance, the characters, just everything. I also love Monsters Unchained. It’s one of my favorite theme park rides.

I haven’t heard much about that topic since our discussions have been more general and broad, rather than focused on specific IPs, likely out of respect for confidentiality. They’ve only hinted at it briefly, without me bringing it up. What I do know is that they got a plan to move forward quickly with the Dark Universe project while the Harry Potter attraction is still under construction. I believe the Nintendo expansion is not a core priority at the moment and may come last.

I speculated about Nintendo expansion in few months ago and in my opinion, Zelda will come to epic than luigi’s. There has been too many hints and leaked involvement activity around that IP.

All I can say now is many of them told me very confidently that dark universe’s expansion on black lagoon (specifically a boat ride) has been green lighted and it’s in works.

Creatives and members have mentioned this more than harry potter expansion while in discussion.

But I didn’t really expected to see these permits this fast! I already knew that it’s coming but it’s nice to see these evidences coming pieces to pieces.

I still remember the conversation with these staffs and creatives. We talked about harry potter expansion that it’s on works. But they were way more engaged and prioritized to talk about dark universe expansion project.

For harry potter expansion, they were being confidential on details. But for dark universe expansion, They specifically mentioned ip(black lagoon) and ride system(boat) and they seems way passionate and excited during this time of conversation.

We know in the permits, we can’t see clear details yet. But for me, I already believe that it will be a creature from black lagoon boat ride because I believe the words from staff and creative.

But for the harry potter ride, details are still a mystery. Personally, I hope ride utilize dark ride system, not a coaster(There is too much coaster in epic. How come there is more coaster than a dark ride? Epic needs more E ticket rides that whole family can enjoy.)

Whatever they brings, I’m sure that harry potter will be formal and grand as usual while black lagoon will be a their nerdy passion project masterpiece.

Finger-crossed! Black Lagoon ip is home-run for this land and there is almost zero reasons not to utilize their classic ip for new ride at dark universe. I’m sure universal creative will do mind blowing job.

For imagineering, I have doubt on many projects they are pushing and they have been inconsistencies with their promises. But for creatives, I’d trust them 100%, I mean they got Gregory Hall! let them cook

I have nothing to base this thought on, but my 'intuition' has always been that the well connected, always correct, @Tomfoolery was Greg Hall. Out in left field I know, but that always popped up in my mind. As I said though, no insider info, just a hunch. Anyway, bottom line, Hall is the best Universal has. Pay the man what he's worth and elevate him to the top UC Executive position.
