Universal Mega Movie Parade on temporary hiatus until Late October 2025 at Universal Studios Florida

Universal Orlando has announced that the Universal Mega Movie Parade will be temporarily unavailable starting October 8. According to Universal Orlando's website, this hiatus is due to necessary maintenance along the parade route. The parade is scheduled to resume later this month, with showti

That's why it's surprising they close it for two(ish) weeks then bring it back for two-three(ish) weeks before stopping it for Macy's.

Maybe its due to contractual status with the performers/dancers/etc.

I mean, 3 weeks isn't exactly a short amount of time lol

Looked at Touring Plans this morning and it appears they started running the Mega Movie Parade this weekend....but at 7:00 PM, with a CineSational lagoon showing at 9:00 PM. Nice move if that's accurate. No afternoon heat to watch the parade.

It’s still on the universal calendar to start June 5. It was pushed back and it looks like on their site it’s showing August 23 as the end date, which I’m hoping isn’t true since it usually runs through November.

That would be really disappointing - I don't see a reason why they can't run it during HHN season like they have in the past.
