If it takes Simpsons right next to the still popular HP  and the brand new Hillside roller coaster AND its the intersection to the lower lot and Studio Tour

I don't want to lose Springfield. Can't it just stay?

Man, it's crazy to think I grew up with Pokemon and now my kids are growing up with it as well. My 10 year old is obsessed with it. I shudder to think what the crowds will be like when the land opens. It's gonna rival HP crowds.

Same

I grew up playing Red and Blue.....then Pokemon kind of died in my friend group and what not and thought that ment it was going to end.....nope it keep getting bigger and Pokemon remakes and X and Y got me kind of back into it and then Pokemon Go really got me back into it along with the switch games after that

I'm pretty happy its still around, and while I don't care for all the Pokemon stuff....I still enjoy watching the OG anime, the live action movie was fun and Pokemon Concierge was sooo cute.

But yeah, insane that Pokemon is basically as hyped now as when it came out

With Disney in the picture, sadly not. I would love for them to keep Springfield and just completely overhaul the ride but sadly its probably not in the picture

Pokemon Go was such a phenomenon. I know they still have it, but I wonder how close to the zenith of its popularity it is now.

The Switch games are fun and the new Pokopia game is supposed to be good. They're branching out more and more and I'm happy about that, even if it's not all in my wheelhouse.

At the risk of getting off topic, I was really really into the 3DS installments and Go when I was about 9-12 and have since kind of fallen out of love with the series. Which is really sad, it was a major defining part of my childhood, but Arceus was the only Switch era Pokemon I truly enjoyed and even that kind of felt like playing a polished prototype of something better.

So, is the closing of the road behind Simpsons basically guaranteed? I see no way they reuse the same 33 year old building for a THIRD ride, especially when it's both literally and metaphorically showing cracks. I honestly think they need to level the entire land, build out from the hill to expand the overall area and then build something new from scratch. This is kind of THE spot at USH. It needs to be something really special, a land that blows everyone's minds.

That's why I think it needs to be BTTF or Dark Universe. Pokemon is inevitable and also deserves a premium spot in the park, but this should be a celebration of USH's core identity.

The reality is that Simpsons is going to be pulled because of the Diseny component, which is really disappointing. It's an area that I've really enjoyed and feel like they've done a great job with retrofitting it from BTTF to Simpsons in a way that enhances the park. With that being said, yes, they will need to knock it all down and start from scratch instead of trying to retrofit it again. And that makes sense considering what they will likely put there.

I'm far from an expert on USH, but is there space to expand Super Nintendo World for Pokemon?

I’m personally not disappointed. I’ve been ready for it to be gone for like 4 years. The ride simply isn’t that well-executed and feels really dated to me. I’m glad you enjoy it though!

Hypothetically yes, if they got rid of Transformers and/or some soundstages and utility buildings. I don’t really wanna lose Transformers though, honestly. I’d slightly prefer losing Mummy, but that ain’t happening

The ride is definitely dated and I would've liked to see a new ride.

I don't see them getting rid of Transformers. I personally am okay with losing Mummy, but I understand most won't agree with me.

lol

Not to pick a fight but I love how both people are like...I don't want more clones like Transformers and Mummy....also don't take these rides...lol

I have nothing against the Mummy but if taking it away means a bigger lower lot...sorry USH also treats that ride like crap, it hasn't been updated or taken care of like Jurassic. Transformers is fun and still gets very solid crowds but I won't be sad when any simulator rides go especially if we get a dark ride instead. Spiderman is the only screen ride in the states I'd fight for the rest are cool but if you offer me a dark ride or something else I'll take it because Physical over screens every time for me

You know what….I agree with all of this.

I enjoy Transformers but if it were to be reskinned for something more practical like Beijing’s JW ride, I won’t be mad.

Mummy has its place, but the minute they come up with a far better indoor coaster to replace it with, get that wrecking ball ready.
