This is how I would redesign Universal Studios Florida. First, I’d replace Fast & Furious – Supercharged with a Back to the Future attraction, bringing Hill Valley back into the park and incorporating a few nods to Jaws. Since there’s already a Jaws statue as a photo op, this would effectively restore Back to the Future, Jaws, and E.T. Adventure as active experiences—a huge win for the park’s classic lineup.
Next, I’d retheme The Simpsons Ride into a Wicked-themed attraction. The reason is simple: when you’re standing in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and look across the lagoon, seeing The Simpsons creates a strange visual clash. Wicked would blend much more naturally with the surrounding environment—both it and Harry Potter share a fantasy setting centered around magic and witches, making the overall aesthetic feel more cohesive.
Finally—and I know this is a huge hot take—I would completely overhaul the MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack and former Fear Factor Live area. I’d replace it with a large, fully immersive Nintendo-themed land. There’s more than enough space, especially with additional room available behind the DreamWorks area, to create something expansive and highly detailed.
That would be my ideal vision for Universal Studios Florida—a park that better balances nostalgia, immersion, and cohesive theming.
