I really hope they go all out with the Jurassic section. I can't think of a universal IP more deserving of the Harry Potter/nintendo/epic treatment, I want it to be super immersive and full of detail. There are some great jurassic rides out there but I've always found the land surrounding them to be lame and half-assed. And pleeeeasssssse, ditch the 2015 JW aesthetic.

I’m behind on the UK lore here, but is there any strong indication this park will get something Potter? Heard that it might? Would be a crying shame if there is nothing Potter in its country of origin!

There's been a lot of discussion about Potter in the UK park in this thread. Some excellent points on both sides so I won't try and restate them all, but worth going back through the thread and having a read if you're interested in it.

The shortest summary possible is that it currently doesn't look like there will be any Potter in the park at opening at least (for many reasons) but nothing is off the table entirely this early in the process, so no one can say for sure.

But as I say, if you're interested in reading everyone's ideas about why it will/won't/must/shouldn't/could have a place in the UK park, you'll enjoy going back through the thread to find the various times it has been discussed.

Counterpoint: If it's Jurassic World the chances of a JW Adventure clone skyrocket.

Building a Jurassic anything from scratch, in the year of our Roar 2026, it’s going to be a whole-ass World land.

Who's to say they couldn't reskin JW Adventure to JP? Especially if they're going for a kind of "nostalgia park" vibe with BTTF and a Jaws marina mini-land and the James Bond submarine lair stunt show. They can even keep most of the ride's plot beats: T-Rex chasing the jeep like in the film, final battle against the velociraptors instead, and as a bonus, no Chris Pratt! And is it just me or is the grey and blue jurassic world sign really sterile and a bad first impression of the land?

JW adventure is really fun. Best attraction in Beijing; and I enjoyed the indoor/outdoor coaster as well. But the land is just ok. IoA is more themed, IMO, outside of the (albeit, impressive) mountain façade.

From a distance, Beijing wins. But in the land, IoA easily takes the cake from a foliage and thematic sense.

Beijing doesn't have the weather to support the tropical plant life, which is why they have those fake palm trees. II assume the weather for this park is not as bad but still kinda similar? No snow but no tropical plants ether?

The UK isn't a natural fit for tropical plants. But there are a range of palm-like plants that will be fine, and other plants that will look the part for jungle flora.

Whats wrong with Pratt? He was nothing but great to everyone he interacted with on set. Not his fault they wrote his character after JW to be a generic action hero.
