It's probably not going to happen, but a USF Transformers build timeline would be high on the wish list. Epic really needs a high capacity indoor D/E ride of some type that's not too tech advanced. Keep it simple and fun. No need to keep trying to out tech for techs sake....This attraction was needed yesterday, so fast track some good existing ride system that operates smoothly, without massive tech issues.....FUN counts more than wild innovation.

I just don’t want a broom ride to be Quidditch. It needs to be Battle of the Seven Potters or Grindelwald’s Escape.

Only quidditch I want is that one World Cup where everyone forgot it. Could be a fun story to fill in.

If the Potter expansion is a broom attraction, I still think that Quidditch is the most likely theme. Out of all of the possible concepts, a "Quidditch ride" would be the easiest to market and for the general public to immediately understand and be excited for.

I feel like “Ride on a broom” is explanation enough; even for non Potter fans.

Disney got away with Ride on a Banshee so this seems like, from an advertising standpoint, an easy counterpoint of sorts.

And frankly that's about as much juice as quidditch has IMO. Go any deeper and you're confronted by how stupid a game it is.

Almost like it's more of a plot device than game! :lmao:

A flying brooms ride can be an entire new adventure, that's not in the books. Just need some great Scotland scenery and a few attacking adversaries.

My issue with using Quidditch is, one, it basically takes place in a wide open field, and two, the Seeker position (the only position worth playing) is a famously singular thing. Having a ride vehicle of anything other than one-across breaks the immersion of quidditch. Most of quidditch also takes place in brighter conditions, which means it HAS to be a flying theatre (because you couldn’t hide coaster track in the sun). That makes the idea of a “playing quidditch” experience a bit more ridiculous (unless it’s basically FoP… including the goggles that block your peripheral vision).

A stormy “battle” storyline lends itself better to varied action and the inevitable glimpses of other riders.

Yes, but so is the Forbidden Forest, and yet we still have Hagrid's.

I don't think it would be just be a basic Quidditch match. I would assume it starts as normal, and then "something goes wrong".

Isn’t the facade the Paris Ministry so I’m assuming this attraction would actually have to take place in that location.

They've got a ride in the land that takes place 40 years in the future. I'm sure we could "it's magic" our way to any number of locales.

Please no more Potter attractions where I'm attacked and people are yelling at me. Let me fly through the forest with my friends and see some Gimbelwoks or Slowpeedos or Nifflers.
