Wish we could've seen more of the queue; the car in a static launch at the 2:40 mark in particular has me curious. And with her saying the story is more focused on the stunts/stunt performers, maybe this'll be a mild return to a ride whose queue takes us "behind the scenes" instead of some sort of full narrative.

They don’t need to think too hard about a good story for this ride. The man purpose of this ride is provide a good thrill ride for guests. I think having a “stunt tribute” setting is perfect for this, especially in Hollywood.

Italian Job Stunt Track... we're so back.

(For those unfamiliar, this was rolled out at a couple Paramount parks back in the day. Honestly a pretty good effort for a regional chain. The premise was that we were running/participating in a stunt sequence for an Italian Job film.)

No, I agree. It's just funny that all this time people were wondering if there would be a story to this, so the possibility that it could turn out to just be a big celebration of stunt work instead is a totally welcome surprise. (And in a way, a return to form for the "movie magic" aspect of the park that I grew up with and have missed.) God, can this thing soft already!

I wonder if the footage of the train crawling through the first launch is how it is going to be when it officially opens

Same, it seems like there's very little space for it, but I think it'd be cool if that car moved to give the queue some kinetic energy. I also wonder when the video was filmed, because the queue looked like they barely started
