Hearing from some old friends that the Sesame Street Party Parade might be seeing its' final shows soon with no planned replacement. It opened with the land and has been a daily ops offering for nearly that whole time. It's crazy to think about but it's been nearly 5 years since it returned to the park, post-COVID.
Very much hoping I've heard bad info here. The parade is a surprisingly wonderful offering with a long runtime and tons of energy from the whole large cast. Really delivers a solid main attraction for the Land, in lieu of the dark ride that modern Seaworld could never have the chops to pull off effectively.
More importantly though, I hope I've heard bad info because it always stings to see more entertainment cuts around the Orlando parks. We've unfortunately seen major cuts from nearly every park chain in the area within the last year, big and small, and major cuts mean a lot of people out of their jobs. Wishing the best for all of them right now. Without dipping into larger conversations, I'll just say that right now is a very bad time to be out of a job.
