Apparently, Disney's plans for Muppet*Vision 3-D involve releasing a VR version of it for Apple Vision Pro and other VR headsets. How VERY disappointing!!!

Unconfirmed but I mean this is what I always expected.

I don't see how this is disappointing at all. It's kind of the best case scenario. Muppet-Vision is a show far greater than the projected video alone. It was a multi-media 360 experience with the animatronics, live performer, fog, water, and bubble effects, etc.

There really isn't a more perfect way to preserve a medium like theme parks than VR. It's certainly an inaccessible medium to many, but ... there already exist high-quality video recordings of the projected video itself if you want a more accessible, less complete version.

Fwiw as someone with an AVP if they’re confident enough in the recording to release it as a feature release on there, it’s extremely high quality. That sucker is insanely high resolution.

That would certainly be ideal as well, but if we only get one, I'm glad the complete show was preserved.
