Aren't Richter's, Chez Alcatraz, and Lombard's rather popular? I just don't see San Francisco getting a full retheme to London or Hill Valley. The land is well-themed, it just needs a better attraction to anchor it.

Lombards will be getting a complete redo after Finnegans returns. Perfect opportunity to change names.

And while it wouldn't be the most popular move for most on this forum, they could easily do a BTTF attraction and simply leave the rest of San Fran as in. I mean hell, San Francisco is home to Silicon Valley and the American tech industry... Simply tie the story to a new campus of the original attraction's Institute of Future Technology opening in Silicon Valley and boom, that's all you need. It's an even less flimsy excuse than the entire The Mummy attraction in a New York Museum, or New York getting a coaster named Hollywood Drift...

Chez Alcatraz is really the only standout in the area. Lombard's can do better business, and I don't think Richter's is beloved by much (theming is great, not so much the food).

While it isn't the worst choice, I think it would suffer from the same problem as SWGE does. Sure it's close to what the fans wanted... but it just feels "off".

San Francisco transitioning into Hill Valley is a relatively easy conversion as it'd only required paint, signage and some prop enhancements. The only major piece of construction would be building the Courthouse on top of the existing F&F facade.

Nice concept. That could work with a 'quality, well acted', 360 film. ...Just so they don't have Biff hanging onto an oversized drone flying through the 360 tunnel scene. ;) :lmao:

Unless you’re on the wrong side of the bus and can’t see anything… or in the middle and have heads in your way…

It’s a horrid ride system truly.

It was ok wtih Kong when Kong was 3D. Losing 3D really hurt that ride. Supercharged was awful and I don't think 3D would have helped.

But I do agree the ride system is generally not that great and would prefer they do something new in that space. I'd probably be suckered in if it's BttF and they have the theme playing and everything but feel like it deserves a better ride than the 360 degree screen tram ride.

Biff's grandson has founded a new tech company in San Francisco with opaque goals and funding from a mysterious, perhaps sinister, source. We go to an open house of the new company where we find out Biff III is actually building a time machine to return to the time of Voldemort to do something bad. We hijack our tour bus with the help of, I dunno, let's say Doc's great-great-great-great granddaughter, to stop him.

Throw in some voice acting from Christopher Lloyd and we're in business. I see it.

Thomas F. Wilson could still plausibly play Old Biff, or an Old Biff.

They could even get meta with it and have Biff III trying to go back and make sure his grandfather's plot from the old ride doesn't get foiled.
