Is this for the new Coaster? Or the Start of the redo of the Looney tunes area?

Historically sad about the Magic Flyer gone, but ride-wise, even in the kiddie area, always thought it was a bit unusual that they had 4 "kiddie" coasters (I am including the Roller Skater, but even if you don't, it's still 3, which is still quite a few for kiddie coasters).

I am surprised and disappointed about Tweety's Escape getting demoed. That's a classic, and a one-of-a-kind original that's been at the park in some form (it was originally space capsules) since the park opened. You'd think that wouldn't be that hard to relocate, as it is a favorite for parents looking for a unique and humorous photo op.

Five years ago, Theme Park Crazy called it the #1 most bizzare flat ride, and give what little history is known about it (10:31)

UPDATE: Side note, SFMM has updated their app... so if you were like me and couldn't get your ticket to upload, it was now working for me. You may need to update/change your account password, but my digital ticket did upload once I did with the updated version of the app.

Magic Mountain updates that have flown under the radar:

Twisted Wiches near TC is now Twisted Pies

The FT refill station finally has a permanent queue

Since FastLane has been removed from the updated app, if you go to the FastLane office, they will give you a code to scan that takes you to the old site. But they do say wristband Fastlanes will be coming about Jan 14. They did not know how Diamond VIP membership FastLanes will be handled, but I'm going to gamble (just based on my own intuition, not any real insider info) that it will be like how they do it at Knott's... you go into a store and they print out a Front of Line pass for you.

Also just sampled Holiday in the Park (I didn't do everything, as I'm planning to return for a more in depth view), but first impressions, I really enjoy it! They really added a LOT of original walk around characters, have multiple shows and live music, and they have holiday music playing throughout the entire park. Bad note (at least on a Friday night), two of the holiday specialty food locations (Twisted Pies and Ace 'O Clubs) were closed. Like, if they're going to offer special holiday food items, I can't understand why they're never open for the event itself. This also happened for Fright Fest.

Ninja Its the ride I take friend's on.....never heard anyone not like the coaster

Its one of the best "family" coasters there are and has amazing views of the park....especially during Halloween and the Holidays

Along with taking out the two kids rides...before adding the new coaster....it just sucks we are losing things but are over a year away from a new ride

Assuming it is closing in January, then bundled with Magic Flyer closing (which is truly, the true tragedy of our time), that bumps SFMM down to 17 right.

Habe to wonder what they’ll do on a PR spin, especially with Cedar Point and Canadas Wonderland now becoming the “thrill capitals” of the North American market.

Yeah turns out the park could never fully operate 20 coasters at once. Seems maintenance is a nightmare for a year round park that still operates likes a regional/seasonal park.

Cedar Point and Wonderland can pull it off because they’re closed almost 8 months out of the year lol.

it’s also not much of a “rivalry” now that they are owned by the same company lmao.

Once Ninja goes, they're just gonna block it off until Ninja's replacement opens. There's literally no reason to go up there at that point. They'll save money not having to run the Magic Express and by not having anyone up there.

Notice there were no mazes up there for Fright Fest this year. Almost as if they planned for this.

If it has a more Cedar Fair esque vibe I’m all for this tbh.

That said, elephant in the room…. Where’s the coaster?

It seems they told OC register it’s coming in 2027. They didn’t mention it on the press release though
