I’m gonna be real: If Scream is the next rumored IP to come, I’m gonna find this rumored lineup hard to believe it will happen. That would sound WAY too good to be true, even then it already kind of is.

I'm just picturing the money truck that they would need to back up.

Ozzy and/or INK probably aren't that pricey. But IT and Scream cannot be cheap, especially if Scream gets hit with a double license to Paramount and Funworld.

Resident Evil and Hellraiser are probably in between, but still put a strain on the budget.

I would not be expecting Scream if they already have Hellraiser, IT and Resident Evil. Let's keep things realistic guys.

Getting off topic here, but what if CHARIOT is alluding to a “Krampus” themed original? I say this because Santa’s sleigh is pulled by reindeer (horse pulling a chariot). Plus, there have been rumblings for a Krampus Original for years now, as well as a follow up to Scary Tales…Perhaps Scary Tales: Fright Before Christmas?

I can only hope with the RE rumor that it would include at minimum a room for Village 'cause I loooooved that game but I can't imagine it would get highlighted much especially with the need to improve over the last RE house I would imagine it would still be classic characters and monsters first over the new stuff.

Well, Legacy did hint that the IP lineup for 2026 could be even bigger than 2025.

Scream just feels like something that will never happen, lol.

Hellraiser/IT would be a massive double headliner, then if you throw in Resident Evil on top of that? That's a WILD lineup

To be fair (and I don't think Scream is coming this year), IT was something that was never gonna happen for a long time. I feel like there's a good chance that the people who still felt sore about the 2015 situation have left.

I didn't mean for that to come across as snarky in any way, I apologize. I'm not sure though I'd put all my chips in on M3GAN returning, heck I felt pretty confident the dance hoard from the summer would return for HHN, yet they didn't. I think the SOULM8TE spinoff's reception will ultimately determine the fate of that franchise.

Not just box office, but the merch didn't seem to sell very well, considering how long the merch was sitting on the shelves at a dramatically lowered price (like $4-7 popcorn buckets).

Anecdotally, as much as I would have enjoyed a horde dance, my love for M3gan fell off with 2.0.

I wanna throw this out for posterity.

Apparently, the M3GAN wigs from the Summer marketing campaign were almost immediately shipped back to California and never reordered, so there was no plan to keep them around for HHN surprisingly.

I'm unsure as to how much the Popcorn buckets not selling was the result of people not being into the M3GAN character, or just not being that interested in another popcorn bucket, or at least one with that design. Especially being sold at an event that doesn't even feature the character. It could be any number of factors.

... but overall, yeah, I don't expect her to be a huge priority going forward. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

With rumors of S0ULMAT3 going to either be Peacocked or written off--I wonder if they're wiping their hands away of M3GAN for the foreseeable future.

Makes me though ask a question--typically Universal has opted to have Blumhouse be represented with films that they themselves have theatrical distribution ties too. Horrors of Blumhouse, the Insidious houses (excluding 2024 because that was partially Sony), FNAF, have tried to maintain this element.

It's why I actually have a hard time wrapping my head around what they can do--because if you look by all rights, if FNAF2 isn't here; then the obvious pull is The Black Phone 2 (and maybe including the original as part of it). The Grabber is an industry plant for Universal and Blumhouse, one that has had consistently well done results as a part of the process.

One would stand to think they'd want to continue that element of forcing in something as part of keeping the conversation going.
