Okay so I did EA and hopped into line for FNAF. This was around 5:45/5:50 I got in line. Exited the house around 6:45. So I waited an hour.

I was going to do Jason next, but with the event being close to opening, I decided to hold off on Jason until later and book it to Terrifier.

I am proud of myself right now because that was a really good call. Only waited five minutes for Terrifier and walked right into Poltergeist slightly after 7. As soon as I got out of Terrifier, I saw the queue get mobbed. By the time I walk over to Hogsmede, I look at the app and now it’s at three hours.

So yeah, if you have EA, please do FNAF as soon as possible and then book it to Terrifier as soon as you get out…preferably before 7:00. That is the move to make.

I am now in line for Fallout and plan to do the Tram after. Might save the entire lower lot for last. Playing it by ear with the wait times.

4 hours is uh...officially the longest I've ever seen a line at Horror Nights lol I think the old record was 200 minutes for The Exorcist in 2016. I kinda doubt Terrifier is that long and they're just trying to push people away. But who knows.

Oh I'm sorry, let me correct myself with the most up to date wait times.

It's now at 120 minutes.

It does not appear they capped the attendance on opening night this year!

Tell that to TT. Tram wait has been a lax 5 minutes since 6:30 PM.

I'll take Terror Tram out back and have a quiet conversation about how much we respects its contributions.

Would you tell it to look at the flowers?

Sofar, things now seem to be hovering to a somewhat steady wait time for everything else (excluding TT). Chainsaw Man seems to be at a nice and steady 20 (but I imagine that might spike once TT closes and The Purge is no longer operating for the night), and with the exclusion of Fallout (which seems to be at 30) and Wyatt Sicks (25), the variable seems to be around 60-140 minutes at normal.

It's 12:30 on opening night and Wyatt Sicks has Zero Wait. Yikes. Meanwhile, Terrifier is at 180 minutes.

Wait times massively inflated, terrified listed at 120, waited a little over an hour. Fallout said 35 I waited a max of 15. Poltergeist 50 waited 25

It seems that generally the year is getting a good reception so far so I’m excited! If anyone can report back on this strategy from last year I’d love to hear how it works or if something is better. We were able to get all 8 done by 8, which was much better than 2023.

Terrifier -> Poltergeist -> Scarecrow -> FNAF -> Jason -> WWE -> Tram -> Fallout -> Monstruos

This was the path last year: Insidious -> GB -> Texas -> Weeknd -> Dead Exposure -> Eternal Bloodlines -> Tram -> Quiet Place -> Monstruos

I kind of loosely follow everything until I’m almost there so I’m not 100% on house locations and the picture I looked at was grainy, so please correct if I got the path wrong. It seems doing Terrifier first is def the move, Poltergeist should still be short. It seems FNAF would probably be the better move next before Scarecrow but Weeknd seemed like it would be busy but we always just strolled in after TCM. Hitting Jason just right seems crucial too, with how the waits looked last night. WWE should be fine and I’m not quite as concerned with Terror Tram and I didn’t keep too close an eye on the other two.

Would love any thoughts over the next week or so! I know night 1 is too soon to make an educated guess so please feel free to share any tips after a few visits.

Didn't do early entry, but managed to do every maze minus Jason and Scarecrow by closing time, but that comes with a caveat that I noticed at almost every maze last night. Wait times are understated, everything except for Fallout and Terror Tram had a longer line than was listed, some things by a couple minutes some things by a lot.
It could just be a temporary factor to make sure media could get through everything, but they were very heavily prioritizing Express and I was told as much by some host friends at a few different venues, so be ready to wait an extra 10-30 minutes than what was listed especially if a wait seems too good to be true.
Here's a list of what was listed vs what I waited just so you can get an idea for how things tended to go and can plan accordingly.

FNAF: Listed 45, Waited 75
WWE: Listed 25, Waited 38
Terror Tram: Listed 5, Waited 0
Fallout: Listed 20, Waited 20
Monstruos: Listed 10, Waited 35
Poltergeist: Listed 40, Waited 53
Terrifier: Listed 50, Waited 65

In interesting news, the event is completely sold out this weekend. There isn't a version of the ticket (GA. Express, RIP, FFP, EA) anywhere on the site to get you in.

Which I find weird, because usually they ALWAYS throw up extra tickets last second either day before or day of. In fact, I was pretty much counting on it. Perhaps they oversold the event.

Hi! Longtime forum lurker here. I'm going to be visiting HHN this Thursday on the 11th, I have Early Entry on my ticket but no Express. Would it be feasible to hit all mazes, shows, and the Terror Tram while leaving some room to get dinner and also wander? I saw the wait times last weekend were pretty intense, but it was the opening weekend and I'll be going on a weekday, so maybe waits will be a little less crazy overall? Would also appreciate any tips on optimal house order if anyone has them, thank you!

My friend did all but one house with General and EA on the opening Thursday

So I would say with a good plan and luck yes

1) Check the App, sometimes houses just drop in wait times and if you are near one head to it
2) For EA Terriffer or FNAF are the best options
3) While Terror Tram closes early I'd not hit it until after 8 PM when its dark
4) If you do need a break Chainsaw man is mostly a 20 min wait and Purge you dont need to line up for show up within 5 mins of the show starting and your good to get a rest

I highly, highly recommend waiting to hit Terrifier until a bit after 6:30 (but before 6:50). It may seem counter-intuitive, but if this weekend was anything to go by, everyone with early entry on the upper lot by that time will have waited for Terrifier and moved on to Poltergeist (or raced to the lower lot to try for Jason or Five Nights).

When we arrived on our RIP tour around 6:40 or so, the Terrifier queue was empty, but Poltergeist had an easy 20-25 minute line. By the time we finished our runs of Terrifier and Poltergeist, the general admission folks had arrived, putting Terrifier at a 50-minute wait and climbing. It's a narrow window, but it can save you a lot of time.

I'd save Five Nights for last using this strategy if you're okay skipping the chainsaw chase-out.
