Genuinely losing it at the Eggs Benedict reference. A couple months ago I predicted the FNAF food menu with pizza, a mr. cupcake cupcake and “exotic buttered popcorn”. While we didn’t get the popcorn, I’m surprised and delighted that there actually is a Sister Location menu item.

Too bad Hollywood isn’t getting any of this stuff… you guys better enjoy it

Are you possibly thinking of the incomparable AMULET OF FEAR? It was a light up necklace that interacted with the zones.

It sold terribly, they were passing them out in boxes the last night of the event lol

Because that thing was gigantic. No one wants to feel like Flavor Flav walking around with a two pound weight around your neck all night.

That's the problem I have with infants/small children being brought to the event.

Parents are thinking "Aww. Look how cute they are interacting", but they're not considering how that degrades the experience of everyone else there for the scares and creepy atmosphere. If scare actors feel they have to reign in their performance or act differently because of the presence of children, HHN as a whole suffers.

Yeah, I tend to agree with this. I have a six-month old and while I think Americans are often, ah, not great at tolerating children in public... this is a different thing. Taking your baby to a bar changes the vibe. Taking them to Horror Nights also changes the vibe.

Let me be more clear, the father was minding his own business near the NY bathrooms and keeping the baby in the stroller(the stroller even had one of those baskets that can hide the kid so they can't see out and no one can see in it) and keeping to himself OUTSIDE the zones, OUTSIDE of the queue, AWAY from the actors. It was THE ACTORS who were coming up TO HIM. He was INCREDIBLY conscious of how it looked to be a father with an infant at an event like this - he was not making it about him nor was he getting in anyone's way or damaging their experience. He was simply there. He paid for a ticket, he's allowed to exist in that space. He definitely wasn't saying "Awww," he was saying "Yeah, you're not scaring her, don't worry about it." There's a difference.

I'm not disagreeing with you guys, but the context definitely played a part in how the interaction went. It would be different if he was running through the zones with the baby holding it up like Rafiki with Simba in every scare actors' face. lol We all know how it is when you're in a movie theater or on a flight with a kid crying - impacting your experience. This wasn't that.

Honestly my biggest concern with a “no boo” necklace is just making sure that the ops have people turn them off before entering houses. But I don’t recall an issue with the flashing devil horns and like previous, so it shouldn’t be an issue.

Clearly someone isn’t ready for the HHN LaLilBooBoo invasion that I guarantee is going to happen.

Apologies if I just missed this, but what / where is the “Black Cat Lounge” mentioned on the universal HHN food page?

Part of me wonders if the conservatory might be acting as a new origin for Adaru/Fear as well, considering the roots and vines growing through the park (and especially in Origins) look very similar to the Lantern's roots in Icons Captured. While they're tapped in the Lantern, lures artists in to create more horrors?

It's good to hear that there's an answer why Nuka Cola's not coming. It was one of the things that I had my eye on food-wise.

I will absolutely Build Mass With Sass as an alternative, though. Huge New Vegas fan.

I SPOKE TOO SOON

Rad-Away it is, I guess! I'm gonna be real, the food booths this year are kind of a pass for me. I do like that they're still experimenting with new ideas. The choice to serve birria at the Crooked Lady booth is amazing for the pun, hah.

Birria can be made by using shredded cow tongue.

Cat, quite literally, got your tongue.

Preview night/opening night they'll be ubiquitous. But yeah, I imagine quite rare after that.

Kudos to Universal for continually finding new ways to implement the Influencer Tax.

You have to slide the page horizontally like it's an Excel file (took me three looks to figure it out).
