I keep asked them on X, and they keep saying to check back later. Just tell me so I know whether to remove UOR from my 2026 plans or not.

i book hotel rooms much cheaper than the packages so I don't want to release those rates. Just waiting for ticket information. It's like they don't want my money! lol

Maybe they’re taking inspiration from Cartmanland.

So I'm confused, what's the difference between buying tickets now vs later and what does it have to do with not going to UOR or not?

Because the cost of flights and resorts go up in price (and then the exchange rate) the closer it gets to spring breaks. Nothing gets cheaper. And flights get bought up. And my hubby has to pick his vacation at the end of August for the entire 2026 calendar year at that time.

Just a few reasons for me why I need the tickets now vs later.

But you can buy those things now and then buy Universal tickets later. That's what I did, bought my hotel and flights months ago and just go my HHN and Epic tickets yesterday.

We don't even know if they will sell the tickets though. That makes no sense for me to spend thousands on flights and resort only for tickets not to get released. I have no interest in 4 days at IOA and USF and 1 at Epic.

OOHHHH ok so you're wondering if they'll offer a longer pass with Epic. Got it. I was tryign to follow the logic and was like "but UOR is going to be open in 2026, what's the matter here?"

I believe we have heard that the 14 day (sold overseas) for 2026 does not restrict Epic visits. I know I am making an assumption, but it does not seem a stretch that the same would happen with domestic tickets. I assume they are still trying to figure details around AP's first.

It's not ideal and does suck, but ~$20-50/day per ticket to just do Epic for a few days instead of a multi-parks tickets is a small percentage of the total trip cost. I think this is really a huge problem for people that want to upgrade their AP's (and the 14 day overseas tickets of course) and spend greater than a week there and concentrate heavily on Epic with just a few visits to the main campus.

We also heard--repeatedly--that multinight HHN tickets wouldn't offer Express. Not to put words in @ilovetotravel1977's mouth, but I think the lack of definitive clarity from Universal is the issue here. I wouldn't book an overseas vacation based on online spec and rumor either.

I'd guess Universal decisions, and best case scenario policies, could change IF hotel and ticket demand falls more than expected. Hotels are looking a bit soft, in relation to non HHN season AP rates/availability. January 2026 timeframe for some stuff could be updated/changed if needed. Keep watching time.

....Remember the Potter first year at UHS. Universal changed policies, a few times, as the ticket demand subsided/collapsed.
Orlando theme parks, on the whole, are not doing great right now. Though Universal is probably doing better projections than WDW, at this point in time, due to Epic.
