I see a lot of people upset about this, but we need to be real. People also *say* they want change, but when change happens they don't support it. Bumblebee, Rise of the Beasts and Transformers One all underperformed. Judging by the TF One box office, everybody being upset about it not getting a sequel, didn't go see it at the theater. Even the WORST Bay movie (The Last Knight) made over $600m dollars. This whole thing reminds me of all the people who hated the Stallone Dredd movie and begged for a more accurate version, and when they finally do one it completely TANKS at the box office.

We have one more episode to go, but the scenes with VIPs have been insufferable and unwatchable.

the last episode is kind of disappointing and pretty underwhelming. kinda rushed.
and the VIPs are so horrible, I had to mute them and read the subtitles. I literally could not watch them with volume. but I heard that's how the creator of the show wanted them to be.

yeah, it's like how Elio just flopped. Megan 2 tried something different and is kinda flopping,
I'm sure there are other recent examples

It's because those books are like 50 pages and designed to be 30 minute TV specials.

1) dogman adapts short storys and makes them work in one movie and there are more storys then just the Cat and the hat for the character
2) Also even if you are making a 30 min film into 90 mins...cool hire people who can write this stuff looks like crap like just stupid jokes

Nightmare before christmas is based off a poem....and they found someone who could make an interesting story.

If there was ever a film I wanted Warner Bros. to mark as a tax write-off...
