Also got to experience the Wolfman slobber for the first time, what a gross effect lmao. The section after Drac escapes is done a little better. The part that sticks out to me the most now is after Frank kills the second bride the RV angles you directly toward a large black curtain hanging down.

Difference in scene length is also pretty nice imo. I’m fairly sure you get a smidge more time at the first Drac, the bride attacking Frank scene, the screen where Frank electrocutes Wolfman, second Drac, final Drac, and final Victoria. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong lol.

Ygor and Mummy AAs are down today (Ygor’s booth is covered with a sheet lol) but the ride profile is definitely more polished since I was here a few weeks ago. Also noticed the sunbeam that Frank reflects is finally centered on his mirror. And there’s more seat haptics throughout, including in the station.

Not sure how I feel about there being more seat haptics throughout the entire thing. It's cool when Monster activates the machine and for the Mummy sequence, but now just using it throughout the entire ride feels redundant. Just get the breathing effect up and working!

Could definitely use some work still. My last ride yesterday may have been in a busted RV because many of the haptic moments were accompanied by a loud buzzing sound with the haptics feeling unusually strong and not-fitting. It was like they were firing off way too hard.

My ride this morning had the loud haptics seemingly happen for no reason. We couldn’t understand why the haptics were firing, But the ride’s audio was off-sync, so idk.

Dracula's chest light finally has the correct timing, so now when that final animatronic appears, it's very dementor-like with him coming out of near darkness and from the video, even with him still not at full speed, it looks genuinely terrifying.

You gotta give them credit for working overtime to get this ready for opening day. For a ride this complex with perfect timing can't be easy to program

Give the tech crew a lifetime Universal pass to all the parks lol

I rode this ride 43 times today. Lmao. It was a fun and chaotic day, however my 43rd ride we got stuck on the attraction for nearly 2 hours. Can't complain though since I got a free Epic ticket and 8 fast passes. I'm still shocked I rode it as much as I did today, I've ridden it 86 times overall now. I absolutely adore this ride still.

Most important question: what part of the ride!? Because obviously this one has more to look at unlike FJ

it was towards the end right after the scene with the final Dracula animatronic and before the final Victoria one. Unfortunately stared at Dracula's dogs for awhile.

Great. Universal is funding the Dark Universe expansion by selling Dracula's feet pics

On the Today Show the hosts were filmed riding MU and they were all grossed out and commenting about getting spit on!

Yep, I mentioned that also on the Epic thread this morning. Savannah had a really disgusted look on her face when she talked about it on the third hour NBC Today.

I assumed it was the Bride of Dracula's blood being splashed on us, considering the Werewolf is mutilating the corpse when it happens.

The spiders spitting at you on FJ gets a reaction out of me every time. Not necessarily grossed out, but I always flinch when it’s coming up. Can’t imagine what it’s like on Unchained lol
