When Jason Universe was first "announced" they mentioned that and HHN was the first thing that popped in my head.

Bold prediction: 10 years from now people will look back fondly at Sinister & Surreal lol

The auto tone was horrible.
They were both casted amazingly, just let the actors do their job and deliver the character in a more natural way. Such an easy fix tbh.

The were very well cast.

And I do think they started to get the post processing tuned in later in the event. Early on, it was so heavy you could barely understand them at times. By mid-October or so, it wasn't nearly as bad.

Once again, not to offend.. but this is the EXACT thought I got when reading the list of possible IPs - wth, is the event now only for middle school boys? To be fair, I have not yet watched Fallout, but after all your talk about it, I will give it a shot as it seems it is likely to come and I understand now that it's not cheesy or unoriginal as I first speculated. The rest of it tho? Let's say I'm looking forward to originals.

Also, that hat is generic and below the standards of HHN. Whoever designed that should be sent to Shadybrook.

To me five nights at Freddy's will feel the same as killer klowns from outer space
( I'm not comparing the movies but how it will feel in the park)
Giant colorful costumes. I bet it will feel very similar.

I personally dig the new logo.
Reminds me of the "evil takes root" from HHN23 I think.

The logo reminds me of FEAR icon a lot.

The logo reminds me of FEAR icon a lot

FEAR was 3 years prior to "Evil taking root".

But yes, FEAR did have a slightly similar design, even if minimally, due to the original concept for 2010 being the HHN version of the Halloween tree & it's original icon Cindy before both being scrapped.

I wish that the hhn house would have the older design. ( First they ruin predator now Jason lol).
I don't like this new design lol he looks too ... Human.
Someone in the comments called it basic, he just looks like a normal guy now. And the mask looks terrible.
Hopefully it looks better in person,

I'll take Marketing putting out really really bad original merch early and vague nonsensical "Did you guys know... there's a creature... under Universal?! " teasing in the first half of the year if that means we get actual icons and storylines for the event. It seems to be working for getting them to stay in their lane anyways.

I know Surreal and Sinister didn't really work but I liked the attempt and the designs were neat! That flayed face shoulderpiece on Sinister was cool.

To clarify, I thought the designs of Surreal and Sinister were great and I loveeeeeeeeeeed the amazing make up work the team did for the Surreal and Sinister in-person characters/scareactors. I think they deserved better merch than what they got. It looked like the logo was just slapped onto random objects. There was no reason to take a logo like that and put it on an ugly generic gray tote bag. What was the design inspiration there? It was an obvious case of, we have this logo, what to do with it? Well let's just buy these cheap, ugly tote bags in bulk and iron the logo onto anything we can.

It's my same thought when I look at this year's black and white trucker cap with the brown lettering. It just looks very slapped on with no actual consideration for creativity or design. HHN Merch used to be amazing and I used to happily drop $$$ on it when it looked like there was care and consideration going into the designs but now, I mean I don't know any other way to say it, it looks like taking a logo and slapping it onto random cheap objects and marking the price up ridiculously.

But at least with the Surreal and Sinister logo itself (not on the objects where it ended up) there was an attempt to do something creatively...this new logo looks like cheap clipart.

My first thought seeing the new logo is I wonder with Aiello's return if he's taking a shot at the Evil Takes Root theme again since it was never fully brought to life.

I really like the display here. Hopefully the theming/tone of all this reflects what the event will be this year

Something I noticed is the main logo on the sign, it doesn't have the roots/vines and is more of a broken and bloodied stained-glass window. I honestly dig the heck out of that look, and can see that being the medallion.

I agree. Loved and love Killer Klowns. I know FNAF isn’t the same but think it could have same feel. Will be refreshing to come out of Terrifier and into FNAF.

If Fallout is based on the show, I am wondering how they are going to do the outdoor scenes as they are mostly in daylight. All of the “outdoor” scenes I can think of in houses past have been in nighttime to disguise the seams of the walls.

Only counter example I can think of is Stranger Things 4 in Hollywood with its one short daytime desert scene. In person it looked…interesting.
