I think Manta gets the edge over Stardust. The queue/theming is fantastic (back when SeaWorld cared about that stuff) and the ride experience is still unique and amazing 16 years later.

I still think VelociCoaster is the premier coaster experience in Orlando, followed by Iron Gwazi and Mako closely.

Not even 10pm closures is wild. It's better than closing at 6 or 7 but Epic is fundamentally a park that truly comes alive at night, and hopefully it stays open till nighttime permanently.

Problem is the end of May and June are the longest daylight days of the year. Just a handful of darkness if the parks don't stay open later than 9:00. Hopefully they go later in June.

A huge bummer but not unexpected. This was never going to be a “teach an old dog new tricks” situation. We’ll probably see more 7PM closes than 11PM closes.

This park stuns at night, if they only want to operate 12-hr days, I think pushing back the opening an hour or two will be preferred.

We have a trip booked for December. I hope it stays open after dark. Im also curious how much holiday decorations they have planned.

Could staffing be an issue for the hours? Having a hard time hiring enough to stay open later?

If we're stuck with 12 or 13 hour operating days, they should push back opening to 10 or 10:30AM to give us more nighttime hours.

Couldnt that just be new park hours? My biggest fear is epic being closed early because if buy outs during our trip. Our last big family trip Islands was closed early for buy outs 3 of our 5 days. With those closings only announced 2 months before I was pissed.

Just for reference, Disney will push back showtimes for Happily Ever After to 9:20PM when its dark enough to present. So for those planning visits, try to book a last minute reservation at either of the two restaurants or get in line for a ride right before closing to take advantage.
