The SNL 50 concert on Peacock last night was WAY better than it deserved to be. I cannot believe it was one of my favorite tv events so far this year. The crowd shots alone were just fantastic, let alone the concert!

I never thought this show was a masterpiece or anything, but I did really enjoy it. It wasn't perfect though. A lot of teenage melodrama and ridiculous writing with Silver/Kreese (even in the last few episodes, that whole boat sequence LMAO) but I still had a lot of fun watching it. The last two episodes were great. I wish most of the show had the same tone and writing as them. Season 1 did. But after that it got silly. I'm just glad it ended on a amazing note. William Zabka deserves an Emmy.

Joseph Kosinski & Jerry Bruckheimer Eyeing Reteam On UFO Disclosure-Themed Feature – The Dish

Joseph Kosinski & Jerry Bruckheimer are eyeing a reteam on a UFO disclosure movie following collaborations on 'Top Gun: Maverick.' and 'F1.'
deadline.com deadline.com

New movie. Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) to direct. Said to be in the vein of 'All The President's Men,' but about UFOs.

...God this sounds like nonsense lol. Can't wait.

The end of an era.

James Bond has, creatively, been an independent franchise since 1962. While they've partnered with various studios for distribution over the years, EON has had total control.

While I have frustrations with some of EON's decision-making (especially recently), I am not thrilled about Amazon being in charge, and I am concerned about where they may take the character (especially if reporting in the Wall Street Journal from the end of last year is correct).

Throwing it out but I feel like this is a bigger deal than that of the Avatar TV show.

I wonder if the finalized deal ensures that in the end that they will start whatever they have planned with Bond in a *new* continuity altogether; to allow wiggle room and the ability to see what they will need to do. It's not good news, but I am going to choose to be optimistic as opposed to being against things.

BOND 26 was always going to be a reboot (like CASINO ROYALE technically started a new branch of continuity after breaking from the previous 20 films) given how NO TIME TO DIE ended.

Figured as much as I wasn't quite sure what exactly was going to be the plan (if they continued with a new 007 in the same continuity as NO TIME TO DIE (considering how exactly they flirted with the idea of differing 007's).

Kind of hoping they take a page from Fantastic Four and go back to being a "period piece" sort of element in timeline of events.

Well his original comment wasn't needed either. His whole post would've been fine without it. Don't see how I'm in the wrong when he's already starting with me I'm just responding to his bs

His post didn’t quote you and was vanilla of a disagreement that you can make. You need to back off considering the history.

Y'all would've been up my rear behind. Saying I'm being disrespectful and that my comment was unnecessary. But if Alex says it, it's all fine and dandy. Whatever man.

Edit: also yeah, his post didn't quote me but it's clear he was responding to the fact I made an Avatar thread.
