Yeah, Epic Universe is just an evolution/improvement of the classic Hub & Spoke model. The only difference is that Main Street is "elongated" at Epic Universe.

If there’s one thing Universal is great at, it’s responding to fan criticism. Everything about EU and their latest projects feel like direct responses to criticism, and a way of saying “we’re listening and want to impress our fans”

I been working on a project for my fire station, I wanted to get a head start prior to any meetings with Epic. Does anyone have site plans, of each land of Epic Universe and etc. I have some, but I'm not sure if it's outdated. I'm looking for as many site plans possible so I can start creating a decent rough draft.

I apologize if this is the wrong spot for this, but there’s a bunch of new development happening just outside the park—

The corner of Destination and Universal is supposed to get that 22 story Marriott (although no work has happened yet)

The area on Universal between Stella Nova and the Chick-fil-a is getting a hotel.

The other side of the Chick-fil-a is getting a White Castle at Universal and McKenna:


There’s a Chipotle (with drive through) going into the Lake Cay Commons shopping plaza.

The Wawa at the corner of Destination and John Young should be opening any time now.

There’s so much happening because of Epic, it’s really changing the area which had been very sleepy until recently. Lots of stuff which should do well with the new influx of tourists, especially the stuff within walking distance of the park hotels.

Thirteen years ago when we moved here things were so different!

1:02 am. Just heard a small barrage of fireworks (approx.15 seconds) from the general direction of EU.

Could be EU testing or a private event at SeaWorld.

Edit: After thinking about it, 1:02am and the duration suggests possibly the end of a private event at SeaWorld.
