[Midnight Detective]

This one is for the metalheads.

Just got the newest scarezone done, it’s the first one made as a starting point for my themed event concept of Halloween Horror Nights: Face The Music, and It’s a Black Metal themed zone that takes place in Norway. Rather than tying into the controversial themes that most people perceived the sub-genre as, I instead made it made Norwegian based the best I could to reflect the country’s history, culture, and landscape while representing Norse Mythology, Paganism, and Christianity to layer the theme. I even included a Varg Vikernes jab too. Hope you guys enjoy this!

Thanks! You’re gonna love it. Taking inspirations from Vikings Undead and some other previous scarezones at the Central Park location really helped me follow the guidelines of it. You could tell that I wanna familiarize the readers with some things that you remember in person during the event while doing my own thing at the same time.

Before I was making Black Metal Woods, I did gave my first take of a Japanese and anime themed house concept a bit of an update by including the Kanji writing for the characters’ names and quotes, so I could add in a more authentic touch as possible.

Thanks! You’re gonna love it. Taking inspirations from Vikings Undead and some other previous scarezones at the Central Park location really helped me follow the guidelines of it. You could tell that I wanna familiarize the readers with some things that you remember in person during the event while doing my own thing at the same time.

I wanted to read everything before replying but just wanted to say, awesome write up. Love how you incorporated multiple subgenres and pointed out their unique features. I even saved some bands you referenced on Spotify.

I'm incredibly biased, I love metal and Norway is my favorite country I've visited, but I really had a great time reading through. You did a fantastic job explaining everything for someone whose has little exposure to the themes/concepts as well!

It’s the name for the “PENCIL” code name. However, I am in a pickle. I was originally going to have it be a western house, but I had an idea for a 3D anthology house with a completely different theme, and I don’t know which one would fit better. So I am going to let YOU decide:

Holy poop, that art is actually insane!

Thanks! I’ve already got the next commission submitted for the Conductor. It’s exactly how I want Mowgli to look in the world of Horror Nights. The creepy vibe looks aren’t needed for them cause I want their personality to execute the scares, and the youthful appearance should allure the guests as an illusion that would make anyone say “Oh, look at this poor kid after all sh*t they went through” or “Hey, their take of this kid is cute as the other versions.”

Description:
These Men are about to have a showdown at the gates of Hell.
Welcome to the wild, wild western town of Dante’s Gulch. It’s madness, it’s chaos, it’s survival of the fittest, a perfect breeding ground for the worst of humanity. But something deeper is lurking in these parts, something deadlier. Demons infest this town, wreaking havoc and slaughtering anyone they can get their hands on. The biggest bounties are pinned on the nastiest folks, and demons are the nastiest there ever could be. There are only two people with the guts to go after them. One, a professional demon hunter wielding a rope of infernal, devil-binding metal. The other, a demon himself, choosing to use his violent tendencies for good. Or maybe he doesn’t want to worry about the consequences of cleaving someone’s head in. One things for sure though, these demons ain’t big enough for the two of them.

Another update I have for my Fan-event lineup! The house locations for both Bugs, and Scary Taleshave switched places. Bugs: Infestation! will now be located in Soundstage 23 (“Monstrous” location), and Scary Tales: Big Bad Wolves will now be located in Sprung Tent 3 (“Eternal Bloodlines” location). As I was laying out Bugs, I noticed that my vision for that house will work better in a soundstage, than one of the new large sprung tents. Also, I can still use my original plans for Scary Tales with little to no changes in Sprung Tent 3 anyway.



Only 2 more houses to announce! And one of them is the Icon House! Can you guess which one? If you’ll guess the Icon house correctly, I will reveal the rest of my line up! Including the scare zones and shows. Good luck!
