Here's a good article on Beijing's hotel (if you havent seen it yet) and I'd expect something possibly similar from Orlando's new Epic Universe Hotel in regards to operations

They should buy the rights to Ne Zha at this point.

Idk how this stuff works in China, but YES. There’s a million things they could do with this IP.

I didn't love this park. It was a bit underwhelming. It's mostly clones and the unique offerings they have aren't enough at least not for me. Still enjoyed it, just didn't live up to my expectations! JWA was too short, still fun though.

yes, we talked about it being mostly clones back when it opened. They just changed the names. Fortunately, they canceled the Fast & Furious attraction after its horrible reception in USF. JWA looked loke a cool attraction though...Man, you must be money, you go everywhere.... ;) :)

Or work for an airline— all the people I know who work for airlines and are theme park people seem to do this (making the rest of us envious)!

I just want to reemphasize that I don't think USB is a bad park. I still enjoyed it despite the flaws and I thought the merch was great, I got all the Toothless merch that we don't have at Epic. Though I think going to Epic multiple times before coming here was a bad idea... Epic is so good it's ruining the other Uni parks for me lol. Also as promised here's some pictures:

I know we're pretty tapped out on talking about visible show buildings and sight lines, but for park that frequently looks extremely pretty, that Hogwarts building is horrendous.

Yeah it's why I posted that photo... I forgot to mention it in the post but yeah. It's terrible. Even my dad pointed it out and he never notices that kind of thing. Not sure what happened there! It's weird because their transformers ride has a really cool themed show building

Makes me sad they didn't try something similar with Cosmic rewind...

Wish they could've just gotten the KFP ride right, bc I love those movies (the first two at least, third is just okay and never bothered with fourth) and the play area, shops and restaurants look great.

Honestly didn't mind the KFP ride. It was cute and enjoyable enough. I've seen Universal do worse lol. That queue tho... Jesus christ. 6 minute walk and so many stairs. Painful

How was Lights Camera Action? A spiritual successor to Twister & Backdraft, or weak?

It's good but not as good as those shows. It was basically the boat house scene from Jaws lol
