Mr. BBQ, is coming to Universal Studios Hollywood! This will be a Korean BBQ, that is all you can eat; and it is taking over Johnny Rockets! Mr. BBQ originates in Fullerton, and this will be the first time they have branched out from the Fullerton location.

DUDE. I CANNOT believe my first preference of a restaurant is what's actually going there! Johnny Rockets to Korean BBQ is the upgrade of the freaking century!

Getting KBBQ before HHN next year is gonna go so hard!

Looking at the architecture and design philosiphy of the Fullerton location, it makes it scream more and more as if this will be what Orlando got with Cowfish.




Gives a very "90s" feeling, in the tone of design architecture. At the end of the day though; I think I am floored on this for a few reasons. Mentioned it at the top of this post, but it genuinely does fill a spot that can honestly be compared to that of Cowfish, more than anything.

• Local/Regional based and is something that doesn't exist in other Universal destinations, offering something that hasn't been offered at Citywalk Hollywood
• Is the first franchised location of said regional/local based concept
• Primed to be the first thing people see as they enter Citywalk from the Central Security Hub

This feels like a slam dunk for me, and I can't wait to see how fast they get on transforming this space. Part of me wonders if they could even have it done for HHN this year.
