At least Bird is still writing, but yeah.

I'm significantly less interested now, because one of the real strengths of both INCREDIBLES movies is how much of himself (his personality and interests) Bird put into them. They're the most "auteur" Pixar films, being representative of his singular voice.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this, I know folks are saying "Don't worry, Brad Bird is still writing it." etc., but I'm in the boat where Incredibles II was a disappointing mixed bag. The superhero version of Mr. Mom was great comedy, but everything else with Helen's side of the story with the villain's (outside of a really good motorbike chase) was a whiff.
