Not directly HHN34 related, but any locals have recs for best food spots for post HHN munchies? Wondering if there are any good places that are relatively close to the resort and stay open late. White Castle burgers or something? We are not staying on site this time so don't have access to late night room service etc,.

24 hour stuff is kinda hard to find outside of McDonald's. I think Wendy's closes at 2 am?
( but I know thats not what you meant )
I don't know if anything is open after 2 am ( when hhn closes)
I remember a lot, a lot of people leaving hhn at 2 am end up getting food at Wawa like pizzas and stuff.
I would leave hhn to go to Wawa and there would be 40 people waiting for sandwiches and stuff, wearing hhn shirts lol

I'm actually curious if anyone else suggests something better.

Might be out of your way depending on where you are staying, but Daryl Carter/Palm Pkwy has Taco Bello, White Castle and Raising Canes.

There’s a Del Taco near the Fun Spot, if that’s to your liking.

I will not admit how often I use UberEats way after hours to deliver to my hotel, whether onsite or offsite. It’s super quick.

Del Taco right outside the main gates, open until 2. Couple WaWas nearby, open 24/7, as are all the local McDonalds (even the World's Largest Entertainment McDonalds). White Castle mentioned, 24/7 on the weekends, bit of a drive but if you're headed toward Disney anyway, fairly convenient. There's also a Waffle House and a couple IHOPs and Dennys on I-Drive.

You are right I was hoping for more "exciting" options than mcdonalds and wendys lol. I live in rural South Carolina so our *open late* options here are super limited, and since Orlando is a *BIG CITY* I was thinking there would be a good array of options. I have actually never been to a WAWA so that could be a tempting option.

I think we are staying relatively on the Universal side of Orlando so that would be out of the way. One day I will finally sink my teeth into a white castle burger. I love Krystals, so I am curious if White Castle is any better.

Thanks everybody. I have probably made over a dozen trips to Orlando at this point and I still feel like I don't have a great understanding of what is available outside of the parks and a few bars/clubs we like to visit if we are just down for a concert or something.

Hoping to check out that vault bar while we are down it seems cool.

Sorry for the temporary derail. Coming down for HHN tomorrow night super stoked!

Kinda veering here … but I personally love Player 1 video game bar, if you love beer and video games as much as I do. Although I think it has normal bar hours, so not open super late.

are you driving? and if you leave hhn by midnight you still have 2 hours to eat. there are other places that close before 2 am. depends when you leave. i think steak n shake closes late maybe. I think that some subways are 24 hours.

also theres a cool comic book shop with a hidden sci-fi bar inside called gods & monsters that closes at 12:30 am on Friday and Saturday.
its like 10 minutes from universal

wawa is technically just a gas station but I feel like they have the best food any gas station ever made.
their sandwiches for me are much better than subway. like a lot better. their hamburgers are good.

I'll second this, unrivaled beer selection, and video games from every era. Plus loaded with Halloween decor this time of year. Not that far that Turkey Lake Road.
