Is this only complimentary to Vacation Packages? Last year I got a vacation package and it was free. This year I'm paying a lot more but didn't get everything as a package and now they want me to pay for the shuttle from the Airport to the Hotel. The Customer Service rep for the shuttle said its never been free which is lie because I got it for free last year as part of my package.

Was that a Universal package or a package sold by a Travel Company?

The free one was included with the universal package. I honestly don't see why someone spending over $4,000 would have to pay for the shuttle when anyone buying a cheap package can get it for free. I haven't called Universal yet though. I'll probably call to see what they can do. Otherwise ill just get a Lyft.

I just get a car from Avis and drop it off at the hotel, Budget might work too as they are the same company. It's usually the same as an Uber/Lyft with tip and get the flexibility to stop at a store or two and close enough that you don't need to add gas. Plus if you are early you can leave stuff in the car until your room is ready and just return the keys the next morning. I do have to add that it is cheaper to drop off at Cabana or Aventura than the other campus hotels for some reason.

That's a really good idea. Next year I'll definitely look into doing that when I stay at Adventura so I can go to the store the day of arrival. This year I'm staying at Helios for 3 days then Adventura immediately after that so its a little more tricky.
